This article takes video bloggers as the research object,uses online ethnography,in-depth interviews and content analysis of second-hand materials,and analyzes the process of video bloggers' "manufacturing" from the perspective of professional system theory.From the perspective of video bloggers,depicting the complete career path from"entry" to "exit".Combined with the Internet's "spatial and temporal expansion"perspective to analyze the transformation of the relationship between individuals and time,indi-viduals and organizations reflected in the career choices of video bloggers in the Internet era.Firstly,technological advancement,organizational change,and legality promote the professional "manufacturing" of video bloggers.Among them,technological advancement has triggered the competition for professional jurisdiction and the transformation of vocational education methods.The birth of a new platform in the Internet era and the development of intermediary organizations have laid the foundation for the generation of video bloggers.The form of legitimacy is reflected in the leadership of the top professional bloggers and the discussion and attention of related associations and academic conferences.Professional system theory ignores the support provided by economic,political,social and cultural capital to the survival and development of the profession to a certain extent.But the role of external factors such as state,policy and capital in the "manufacturing" of video bloggers is important.Therefore,this article emphasizes the state's support for the application of Internet technology,the development of the information society,and the relevant policies issued in the course of economic development to support Internet platforms and economic development,greatly advocating and facilitating the professional development of video bloggers from the political,social and a broader perspective,the legal background of the "manufacturing" of the development of many professions and organizations using the Internet as a platform.In addition,the operation of economic,social-cultural and political capital promotes the generation and rapid development of the profession of video bloggers,and capital operation has always run through this industry.Secondly,sort out the professional imagination and path of video bloggers on the timeline,including five links:entry,traffic accumulation and reserve,business monetization,career development,transformation and exit.Video bloggers "enter the industry" out of four considerations:"low threshold and profitable","love video","record life" and career exploration.In terms of traffic savings and reserves,video bloggers obtain through three channels:platform recommendation mechanism,mutual assistance and purchase within industry groups.The commercial monetization methods of video bloggers include platform sharing and commercial promotion.Under the operation of capital,the main way for most full-time bloggers to monetize is commercial promotion.After realizing commercial monetization,professional video bloggers will continue to enhance their competitiveness through four ways in professional development:one is to professionalize video content creation,the other is to learn professional skills and knowledge,and the third is to form teams to increase revenue through project operation The fourth is to sign a contract with MCN to achieve client differentiation.When content creation is exhausted,difficult to monetize,or other problems arise,some video bloggers choose to "exit" and some choose "transition."
