In recent years, the state vigorously develops vocational education.Under the guidance of the policy, secondary vocational schools all over the country have increased enrollment efforts to attract a large number of junior high school graduates to apply for secondary vocational schools.Different from ordinary high school education, secondary vocational schools require students to choose their major first, and then carry out class teaching according to the selected major.Because the new secondary vocational school students have not yet contacted the professional society, their thoughts are not mature enough, and they do not know the learning requirements and future development of the major,so they are more random when choosing the major. After a period of professional study, many students find that their interests or personalities are not compatible with their majors, resulting in low interest in learning, high weariness and low quality of teaching.Secondary vocational school students are in urgent need of guidance from the school for their major selection, but many secondary vocational schools are not equipped with qualified teachers, unable to provide enough guidance for students. Therefore, there is a contradiction between the needs of students to choose a major and the guidance that the school can provide, and it is difficult to reconcile for a while. In this paper, through the study of the relationship between students' professional interests and majors, and systematize the research, use the system to replace teachers to guide students to choose majors, and help students find their own professional interests. In this paper, after investigating, combing and summarizing the research on students' professional interest and professional recommendation methods at home and abroad, the index elements of professional interest questionnaire are summarized and analyzed. The second is to design a questionnaire based on vocational interest, which divides the secondary vocational students into six types: practical, research, social, artistic, enterprise and business.By using the retest reliability method to analyze the reliability,it is found that Pearson correlation coefficient is r = 0.849(P ? 0.01),which indicates that the reliability of the questionnaire is good, and then the principal component analysis and variance orthogonal rotation method are used Factor analysis showed that 64.362% of the total variance was explained, which indicated that the questionnaire had good validity.According to the results of questionnaire analysis, under the guidance of Holland vocational interest theory research, combined with expert interview evaluation, the six vocational types are connected with the major of secondary vocational school, and the relationship between vocational interest and major is constructed.Based on the relevance between professional interest and specialty, this study developed a professional recommendation system based on professional interest by using content-based recommendation algorithm.By using this system, students can get their own occupation types by completing the questionnaire in the system.By using the relevance between occupation types and majors, they can extract the eigenvalues and quantify them by content-based recommendation algorithm, then calculate the similarity, then rank them by top-N,and output the recommended list of majors suitable for students to study.Students can select a major by referring to the recommended list of majors Industry. In this way,we can help students to choose suitable majors when there are not enough teachers in secondary vocational schools. Finally, this paper selects the students who apply for transfer as the test object to verify the effectiveness of the system. It is found that the performance of the students who adopt the recommendation strategy of the system improves significantly, and is significantly higher than the students who do not adopt the recommendation strategy of the system. Therefore, the recommendation strategies constructed in this study provide meaningful guidance for students to choose their major.
