The most important field of school education activities is the classroom.The spread of student silence in the classroom is increasingly valued by researchers.Compared with the active classes in the west,the dull classroom atmosphere in Chinese universities is often criticized by Chinese and foreign researchers.Does the student's silence mean that the mind is not engaged? What factors influence students' silence in class? What influence will classroom silence have on the development of college students? To think about the above problems,we need to conduct in-depth and detailed analysis based on classroom teaching and students' learning status.On the basis of previous studies,this study adopts quantitative research method,taking 3-5 undergraduates who graduated from several undergraduate universities in anhui province as the investigation objects,analyzes the influencing factors of undergraduate classroom silence,the relationship between classroom silence and learning harvest and employment quality,and establishes and tests the causal relationship model of undergraduate classroom silence.The specific findings are as follows:Firstly,there is a widespread phenomenon of silence in undergraduate classes,and habitual silence dominates.The psychological tendency of undergraduates' silence in class includes habitual silence,self-sexual silence and altruistic silence.The mean scores of the three tendencies are 3.140,2.580 and 2.513(full marks are all 5),and habitual silence occupies a dominant position.Second,it verifies that gender,major type,family annual income,family location,student cadre experience and other factors have an impact on classroom silence and other variables.Thirdly,individual characteristics and teaching environment perception influence classroom silence.The two dimensions of the teaching environment perception are the question strategy and the classroom tedium,the individual trait including the abilitydeficiency and the speech anxiety are the key factors affecting the classroom silence.Fourthly,classroom silence has a direct impact on students' learning harvest and an indirect impact on employment quality through learning harvest as an intermediary variable.Based on the above findings,this study proposes the following Suggestions for the phenomenon of classroom silence in undergraduate students,in order to re-examine classroom silence and provide reference and help for improving the quality of classroom teaching.First,we should rationally treat the silence in class and respect the students' right to silence.Second,pay attention to students' habit of silence,pay attention to students' learning situation after class;Third,the teacher should use the question strategy appropriately,enhances the teaching ability;Fourth,promote the reform of teaching law in and out of the classroom.
