"Mathematics Course Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)" puts forward six core qualities of mathematics,including "Mathematical Modeling Literacy",which is a new starting point of mathematical modelling education in middle schools.However,there are still many problems in the teaching of mathematical modelling in senior high schools,such as ideas,resources,teachers and so on.The purpose of this study is to develop school-based curriculum of "Mathematical Modeling" in a senior high school and promote integrating mathematical modelling into routine teachingFirstly,by consulting the literature,this study collects the current experience of school-based curriculum development and the development status of mathematical modeling education.On this basis,a high school in Taizhou is taken as an example to carry out a practical research on school-based curriculum development of "mathematical modeling".In view of the actual situation of this school,this study elaborates the necessity and significance of developing school-based curriculum about "Mathematical Modeling".According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,it establishes curriculum orientation and curriculum objectives,develops curriculum content,designs teaching process,explores teaching mode,and puts forward evaluation suggestions.Through every link of school-based curriculum development of "Mathematical Modeling",based on those problems from practice,it takes adjustment and improvement,in order to provide reference for school-based curriculum development and mathematical modeling teaching.The conclusions of this study are:(1)The significance of developing school-based curriculum of "Mathematical Modeling" lies in the needs of students' innovation,teachers'professional development and the school curriculum integration;(2)the choice of curriculum content should pay attention to basics,practicality and openness;(3)the two teaching methods of "Mathematical Modeling" school-based curriculum should be fragmental and holistic;(4)the process evaluation should be emphasized,combining with multi-subject evaluation.
