Textbooks play a very important role in the process of education and teaching.Textbooks are not only the basic basis for teachers' teaching design and implementation,but also the important resources and support for students' learning.The textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" compiled by the junior middle school(hereinafter referred to as the Ministry-compiled textbook)has been used for less than three years.There will inevitably be problems in the use of textbooks by teachers,which will affect the value of the Ministry-compiled textbooks.Studying the current situation of teachers' use of textbooks compiled by junior middle schools is conducive to guiding and helping teachers to better solve their own problems in the use of textbooks compiled by ministries,and also helps textbook compilers to better revise textbooks compiled by ministries.Through the study of relevant literature,this paper expounds the compilation concept and characteristics of textbooks for junior middle school.On this basis,questionnaire survey is the main method,supplemented by interviews and classroom observation to study the current situation of teachers' use of textbooks compiled in junior middle school from three aspects: teachers' understanding of the textbooks,the process of using and the results of using the textbooks.The research finds that the main problems existing in the use of textbooks compiled by teachers are: inadequate understanding of how to implement the concept of textbook compilation;inadequate treatment of textbook content;inadequate implementation of the rule of law education and excellent traditional Chinese culture education;unscientific selection and use of textbook supplementary texts,excessive emphasis on student subjectivity and neglect of the dominance of teachers;The results need to be improved.Through further analysis,it is found that the causes of these problems are not only the subjective aspects of teachers themselves,but also the objective aspects outside teachers.The main subjectivereasons are: teachers' professional concept is not good,teachers' professional knowledge and ability are insufficient.The main objective reasons are: inadequate professional training of teachers,unscientific teaching evaluation methods and unbalanced educational resources in urban and rural areas.Based on this,this paper puts forward corresponding improvement suggestions for teachers to effectively use textbooks compiled in junior middle school.In view of subjective reasons,teachers should improve their comprehensive qualities,including internalizing their theoretical knowledge and renewing their professional ideas;strengthening professional knowledge;strengthening professional competence and scientifically dealing with the content of textbooks;aiming at objective reasons,teachers should actively create a harmonious environment for the use of textbooks,including,in particular,creating a good discipline teaching atmosphere and establishing a developmental teaching evaluation.Price mechanism and accelerating the balanced development of urban and rural education resources.
