People are the starting point of education,and education aims at educating people.On the one hand,in the face of the phenomenon of teena gers' not cherishing their own lives,not respecting others' lives,and not paying attention to different kinds of lives,etc.in real life,on the other hand,under the traditional "examination-oriented education" guidance,the "alienation" of educational purposes makes our education focus only on the immediate achievements but neglect the long-term life development of students,some students' lives.Faint sense of life,lack of viability,deviation of life values.Education should constantly promote the development of life,improve the quality of life and enrich the connotation of life.The junior middle school stage is an important stage of life development and a key period of life education.In the new round of basic education reform oriented by core literacy,"cherishing life" is in the forefront.In the new era,the state compiles the textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior middle school,which also puts "life education" in a prominent position.This paper takes the moral and rule of law course in junior middle school as a breakthrough point,studies and explores the current situation and problems of life education in moral and rule of law course in junior middle school,and puts forward pertinent suggestions in order to improve the effectiveness of life education and promote the healthy development of students' lives.This paper mainly focuses on investigation and research,combined with relevant data for comprehensive analysis.According to the logic of the content of life education in the textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" of junior middle school,and referring to the viewpoints of experts in the field of life education,life development is divided into three dimensions: life consciousness,survival ability and life value.According to the structure of educational activities,questionnaires are compiled and 306 students in S Middle School of Pianguan County,Shanxi Province are surveyed.At the same time,we interviewed four teachers of moral and rule of law courses in schools on the related issues o f life education,to understand the basic understanding and relevant views of the interviewees on life education,and to dig more in-depth relevant information.Finally,we collated and analyzed the relevant data collected.Through investigation and research,it is found that the overall life development of junior high school students is good.There are some differences in the life development of different genders,regions,only-child and non-only-child,but the differences are not obvious.The differences are mainly reflected in the different grades,with the increase of grades,the development is better and better.It is worth affirming that schools and teachers have realized the importance of life education,and organized relevant life education activities.Teachers and students are more satisfied with the content of life education in the new textbooks.However,a systematic life education system has not yet been formed.Specifically,there are the following problems:(1)There are some misunderstandings in school's understanding of life education,which are mainly manifested in the emphasis on "safety education" and the neglect of "life education".Life education activities are carried out less,and the form is relatively single.(2)Teachers' research on life education is not deep enough,the awareness of life education resources is not strong,the form of life education classroom teaching is relatively single,and the positive factors in all aspects are not fully mobilized.(3)School,family and society have not yet formed the "joint force" of life education.In view of the present situation of junior middle school students' life development and the present situation of life education in moral and legal courses in junior middle school,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Adhering to the guidance of socialist core values education,highlighting life value education,focusing on strengthening life consciousness education,effectively improving survival ability education,focusing on the holistic and phased characteristics of life development,and achieving commonality and difference.Unification.(2)Schools and educational administrations should understand and plan life education from a strategic perspective.(3)Teachers should strengthen the study of life education and improve the teaching ability of life education.
