Novel is a literary genre that is centered on portraying characters,and reflects social life through a complete storyline and environmental description.Compared with other literary genres,Novel can reflect social life more carefully,vividly and truly,and it also shares a strong educational function and artistic charm.Starting from the selection,addition and deletion and the way of compilation and combination of novel works in textbooks,this paper probes into the selection criteria and criteria of novel works in senior high school Chinese textbooks from the perspectives of typical and individual cases,source of compilation and methods of creation,which can more comprehensively present the development and evolution of Chinese textbooks in senior high schools since the reform and opening up,and explore the internal mechanism of the development among Chinese textbooks under the guidance of syllabus.In this way,A more comprehensive,systematic and multi-angle structural Atlas of high school Chinese textbooks and novels could be constructed,the construction of modern Chinese textbook system could be promoted,and the reform of the basic education could be fastened.The research object of this paper is the novels in seven sets Chinese high school textbooks published by the People's Education Press since the reform and opening up.The paper consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the source and significance of the topic,analyzes the status quo of domestic research and defines related concepts and research scope.The second chapter is the trajectory of novel selections of Chinese textbooks in senior high school,based on the reform of the syllabus,The development of high school Chinese textbooks can be divided into three periods,one leading principles and one test book period,one leading principles and many text books,many leading principles and many text books period,one stander and many text books period.This chapter will analyze the increase,deletion and combination of novel selections from these three stages.The third chapter is about a comparative analysis of the selection of novels in Chinese high school textbooks.It will mainly explore the selection rules and characteristics of Chinese high school textbooks from the comparison of the addition and deletion of textbooks,and the changes in categories,so as to deepen the understanding towards the existing teaching materials.The fourth chapter is the reflection and suggestion of the selection of novels in the high school Chinese textbooks.It advocates that classic and pluralism textbooks should be taken as the educational orientation of textbook selection in senior high schools.The selection of different works should emphasize the unity of instrumentality and humanism,pay attention to the hierarchical orientation of the reading group,and the appropriateness and readability of the selection and compilation of works.
