With the implementation of geography curriculum standards for ordinary high schools(2017 edition),multiple versions of new curriculum textbooks are being published and used.This does not mean that the mission of high school geography textbooks is about to be completed.On the contrary,it is the first formal "performance" of geography textbooks for teachers and students in the new curriculum standard,gradually replacing the "rehearsal" in the experimental stage.Then,as the direct users and learners of textbooks,do teachers and students of the school agree with,satisfy with or have some problems in the use and learning of textbooks?Are the teaching arrangements and requirements in the textbooks appropriate to local development,school resources and equipment,and the level of teachers in the school?These issues deserve attention.The relevance of geography textbook is refers to has been reviewed by the use of geography textbooks in teaching and learning process,the choice of content organization logic and expression characteristics and geography course standard geographical discipline characteristic and the allocation of resources with a particular region or school teachers level students practical aspects such as the match between circumstance and appropriateness.It is of practical significance and value to analyze the suitability of the textbooks being put into use,to optimize the high school geography textbooks according to the teaching practice,to make secondary development and utilization of the textbooks,to improve the suitability of the geography textbooks,and to better serve the teaching activities of teachers and students.This paper analyzes the suitability of geography textbooks from two aspects: first,constructing the relevance analysis tool of geography textbooks,that is,constructing the index system of quantitative relevance analysis of high school geography textbooks,the main steps are to extract indicators--select indicators--improve indicators--weight distribution--compile questionnaires--form a scale;second,high school geography textbook relevance quantitative analysis index system of the application case study,combined with the actual situation,based on the new standard chart in the high school geography textbook,for example,using the questionnaire survey method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,applied in this paper,the scale of building suitability analysis of the edition of textbook,aptness to show for analyzing high school geography textbook analysis tools and analysis method of the specific operation process,and for a region or schools to choose more appropriate geography textbook role.The system of suitable analysis index for high school geography textbook consists of 4 first indexes 9 secondary indexes and 28 third class indexes.The 4 first indexes a-re respectively the relevance between geography textbooks and geography curriculum standards,the relevance between geography textbooks and students' learning,the relevance between geography textbooks and teachers' teaching and relevance of geography textbooks to the development of the region and the school.Based on the index system,it is concluded that possesses the high school geography textbooks in the new standard of su-itability analysis,among them,3.2% of teachers think that the suitability is poorer,this also shows that the textbooks aptness in some ways,there are still some problems,the edition of textbook suitability survey results for master and good proportion accounted f-or 78.4%,which shows Map edition of high school geography textbooks in the new c-curriculum standard have good relevant evaluation.
