Comprehensive practice activity,which attaches great importance to students' comprehensive ability improvement in practice,serves as a kind of curriculum form developed particularly by our country in recent years,and is expected to be gradually included in the scope of compulsory courses.Nevertheless,the implementation of comprehensive practical activities at present is still in the exploratory stage,during which many schools currently take little account of such activities or employ largely limited implementation methods.Hence,the key at the moment is to coordinate the interest and knowledge of middle school students appropriately in comprehensive practical activities.The STEM teaching mode,which can integrate science,technology,engineering and mathematics properly,is an advanced teaching concept that plays an important part in improving students' ability of interdisciplinary application.Meanwhile,considering that there is a partial overlap between the educational idea of STEM and the content of comprehensive practical activities,suitable instruction application of STEM educational concept can make up for the weakness of traditional comprehensive practical activities and further promote the cultivation of progressive talents who can integrate knowledge and make a rather flexible application.In addition,in view that the current energy problem is often regarded as a focus issue of the world,wind energy as a clean new energy contains great development potential.Therefore,the setting of related activity courses can lead students to experience wind energy applications and comprehend energy conversion methods.This paper mainly pay attention to two groups of students respectively in the senior grade of primary school and the sophomore class of high school.On the foundation of STEM education theory and curriculum standards,the exploration of comprehensive practical activities on the theme of wind energy is thus carried out.According to the different cognitive characteristics of current students in the two age groups,variousteaching methods are adopted to improve their comprehensive capacity.The first chapter is introduction,it primarily introduces the origin and development of STEM education and integrated practical activity,the application of wind energy,the requirements of curriculum standards,the necessity of combination and other contents.Finally,the research status of STEM comprehensive practice activities at home and abroad and the current situation of wind energy application and development of wind energy theme activities are summarized.The second chapter introduces the theoretical basic theory of these activity designs,such as Piaget's Cognitive Development theory,"Learning by Doing",BOPPPS Efficient Pedagogy,and Bloom's Taxonomy for Learning Objectives.The third chapter is principally about the design and implementation of science and technology venue activities aimed at students in the upper grades of elementary school,which is under the support of the project and on the basis of the STEM concept.Accessible to the exhibit resources of the science museum,students,can design,produce and evaluate wind turbine generators in small groups.Relatively speaking,the adopted evaluation method of "light strip" is fairly intuitive and conducive to improving students' practical operation ability comprehensively and deepening their knowledge understanding and application thoroughly.This part explores the effects of science museum-school cooperation form,investigates its teaching efficiency by questionnaire method,and eventually conducts the relevant self-evaluation summary and teaching effect analysis.The fourth chapter briefly elaborates the activity design and implementation whose main target is senior school students in the second grade on the theoretical grounding of STEM concept.This study makes full use of general technology classroom on the production of small-sized wind turbine generators under group collaboration,and successfully accomplish the assignment of presenting the power generation value on the display screen through bringing in the Arduino program.Performing such activities contribute to promoting students' innovative thinking and cooperation skills and motivating their interests in learning to a certain extent.Moreover,the teaching effect analysis obtained through the questionnaire method will be listed in the following paper as well.The fifth chapter is the summary and prospect,including the learning effect,teaching activity suggestions and the similarities and differences between the two teaching designs,as well as the shortcomings and future prospects of this study.
