In recent years,Chinese culture has been popular in Thailand,leading to the increasingly number of people are learning Chinese.The Thai government has incorporated Chinese language teaching into the national education system,formed a good cooperation model with Chinese schools.The Overseas Chinese Public Xingmin School in Phitsanulok,Thailand is the only school in Thailand that offers Confucius Classrooms.The school attaches great importance to students' Chinese teaching,and sets soft pen calligraphy teaching as a compulsory course for grade 5 and 6 students.I am fortunate to be the teacher of the Confucius Class calligraphy class in Xingmin School between 2018-2019.In the teaching practice,I have learned from the previous teachers' and scholars' practical experience and research theory,combined with the actual situation of the Confucius Class calligraphy class teaching in Xingmin School,and launched a series of teaching practices explore.Firstly,based on the study of the relevant theories of Chinese international calligraphy teaching and the teaching experience of other teachers,in response to the requirements of the teaching objects,teaching objectives,and teaching content of the Confucius Classroom at Xingmin School,teaching materials and calligraphy teaching courses was collected and prepared.Secondly,music-assisted teaching and picture teaching was used in the teaching process to effectively arouse students' enthusiasm and enhance students' interest in learning calligraphy.Thirdly,in order to adjust and improve the deficiencies in the teaching process,the questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the students' cognitive attitude towards Chinese calligraphy class,the teaching feedback of Chinese calligraphy class and the teaching effect of Chinese calligraphy class.Fourthly,in order to to provide reference for the calligraphy teaching of international students in the future,the relevant improving methods in the future are expounded from the four aspects of teaching resources,teaching objectives,teaching content,and teaching evaluation.
