In addition to China's mainland,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,Malaysia has the most complete Chinese language education system and learning environment.From kinder gardens,primary schools,secondary schools to tertiary education,there are schools in Malaysia where used Chinese language as educational media.At the beginning of the 19th century,Chinese language education appeared in the Malay Peninsula and Singapore in the form of private schooling.In the 80's,United Chinese Committees'Association of Malaysia published the first set of Chinese teaching materials.But with the change of times and society,both China and Malaysia have experienced an educational reform,and the main embodiment of education reform is in textbooks.Due to the impact of the living environment,Malaysian Chinese in the choreography of textbooks at the same time will add some localized themes,which can foster a much easier learning environment.Under different social environment and educational reform mode,cause differences in Chinese textbooks between the two countries.This thesis is based on a comparison of six volumes of Chinese textbook(Chinese)(2011-2014)published by the Malaysian United Chinese Committees Association,and the five volumes of the Chinese textbook(Chinese),published by the Chinese teaching edition(2004-2007)Study the differences between the contents.Summarizing the comparative results of this study,revealing the advantages and disadvantages of the two sets of textbooks,Prefer the strengths of others,make up for the weaknesses of each other,and learn from each other.Provide some suggestions on the text layout and content for Chinese textbooks in Malaysia,which can also make China better understand Chinese textbooks in Malaysia and the textbooks used.This thesis is composed of five parts.The first part is an introduction,which tells the meaning and background of the topic,so that readers can first understand the Chinese education in Malaysia.The second part is the analysis and comparison of the layout of two sets of textbooks.The structure of a set of textbooks will affect the overall teaching direction and learning results.Therefore,the layout and structure of the two sets of textbooks are compared to understand the teaching purpose and direction.The third part is to compare the content of the two sets of textbooks,that is,the text system,Reading aid system and operating system.It is found that even though there are many similarities in the content settings,there are still differences in the details.The fourth part is a summary of the differences between the two sets of textbooks and uses the differences between the two were formulated into a questionnaire,and this questionnaire survey and interview was conducted with local Chinese teachers in Malaysia.According to the results of the questionnaire survey and interviews to provide some improvement suggestions for Malaysia Chinese textbook;the last part is the conclusion of a holistic study.
