Innovation is the key to national development,and graduate education is an important source of innovative talents.In recent years,with the expansion of the scale of higher education,the quality of talent education has gradually emerged,and the cultivation of graduates' innovative ability has caused widespread concern.This article focuses on the innovation ability training of postgraduates in social sciences of comprehensive universities represented by economics,law,education,and management,analyzes its influencing factors,and then proposes countermeasures and suggestions to improve the group's innovation ability.This study comprehensively analyzes the existing domestic and foreign literature and related theories,and to combine the characteristics of social science research to define the concept of the creative ability of postgraduates in social science.To measure the status quo of the innovation ability of postgraduates in social sciences from four aspects of knowledge structure,innovative thinking,innovative personality,and innovative behavior,and to design a questionnaire on factors affecting the innovation ability of postgraduates in social sciences at the level of graduates themselves,mentors,schools,teams.Taking Nanchang University as an example,questionnaires were distributed to the second and third grade students of social science graduate students,and SPSS software was used for statistical analysis of the questionnaire data.The analysis results show that the overall level of innovation ability of postgraduates in social sciences is weak,and the scores of each level from high to low are innovative thinking,innovative behavior,knowledge structure,and innovative personality.There is no significant difference in the innovation ability of social science postgraduates in terms of gender and the total number of tutors.In terms of grade,specialty category,subject category,and instructor's guidance time,there are significant differences in the innovation ability as a whole or at some levels.Individual factors,mentor factors,team factors,and school training all have a positive predictive effect on the innovation ability of social science postgraduates in general or to some levels.In order to further promote the innovation ability of postgraduate students in social sciences,this paper analyzes the characteristics of postgraduates innovation ability training in two domestic comprehensive universities,and discusses the experience of postgraduates innovation ability training in the United States,Britain,and Japan.Combining the data analysis results and empirical discussions,this article puts forward suggestions to promote the innovation ability of postgraduates in social sciences of comprehensive universities from the aspects of stimulating individual innovation motivation,formulating reasonable training goals,strengthening the guidance of mentors,optimizing curriculum settings,and improving the research environment.
