Career education refers to a life-long educational activity that leads students to think about the basic life problems in the development of school and career through scientific activities such as enlightenment,exploration,preparation and planning.With the continuous reform of the basic education curriculum,career education has played an important role in the reform policies such as the new college entrance examination and high school education methods promulgated by the Ministry of Education.High school students are in their early youth,self-awareness has gradually matured,and they have begun to pay attention to themselves and think about the future,which is a critical period for the implementation of career education.Biology involves many types of occupations in the fields of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,medical hygiene,and environmental protection.Therefore,it is very necessary to integrate career education in high school biology teaching.This paper uses literature research,questionnaire surveys and non-standardized interviews and other methods,and guides students' and teachers' questionnaires and interviews with the guidance of career education-related theories.It uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to demonstrate high schools in Huaibei City.The current status of career education penetration in biology teaching was investigated.Based on the investigation and analysis of the status of career education,based on the new edition of “Biology-related Occupations” in High School Biology(People's Education Press,2019),three teaching cases and a career person interview activity plan were formed,and Through the“Middle School Students Occupational Maturity Survey” questionnaire,the implementation effect of the teaching cases was tested.The survey results of the questionnaire interview show that although the school has carried out various forms of life education activities,it is still at the initial stage.in high school biology teaching,teachers infiltrate career education in the classroom and after class due to the lack of class hours andinsufficient understanding of career education.The frequency is too low,but teachers have realized the importance of career education;parents have insufficient guidance for students' careers.students are more one-sided in self-awareness,urgently need guidance for choosing subjects and reporting volunteers,and are confused about future careers.Students Expect to receive content related to career education in biology teaching.The results of the case show that there is a significant difference between the professional maturity of the experimental class and the control class(P<0.05).The professional maturity of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class,indicating that career education can be penetrated in high school biology teaching.Improve students' professional maturity.Therefore,infiltrating career education in high school biology teaching is feasible and necessary.Infiltrating career education in biology not only helps to improve students' professional maturity,but also helps to strengthen students' cognition of biology subjects and improve students Self-driving force of learning.According to the results of this study,the following suggestions are made: at the school level,it is suggested that the school should increase co-ordination,strengthen external cooperation,strengthen teacher training and teaching and research;at the level of biology teaching,propose to study the characteristics of student development and dig deep into various resources,Carefully designed teaching,and actively carry out various activities and other suggestions.
