Vocational maturity is the degree of maturity that an individual is prepared for making career decisions.Vocational maturity is also very important for high school students.High school students form a high level of vocational maturity,which helps them clarify their future development ideas and make preparations for entering school and employment in advance.Starting from self-identity,this study explores the relationship between high school students' self-identity and career maturity.At the same time,future time insight is introduced as an intermediate variable to discuss the relationship between the three.Select two high school in Zhengzhou city,this study uses "adolescent identity crisis scale","youth the future time perspective scale" and "middle school students' career maturity inventory to higher,questionnaire survey was conducted among 900 students of grade 11 and 833 effective questionnaires were taken back,the self-identity,future time perspective,and analyze the present situation and the relations between career maturity,and on this basis to discuss the future time perspective in mediating role between self-identity and career maturity.The results are as follows:(1)High school students have a medium level of self-identity.There are significant differences in gender,residence,class cadre,only child and parents' educational level.(2)The future time insight of high school students is at the middle and upper level.There are significant differences in gender and parental education.(3)The vocational maturity level of high school students is middle or lower.There are significant differences in gender and parental education.(4)The dimensions of time perspective,role attempt,self-assurance and value orientation of high school students' self-identity were significantly positively correlated with future time insight,while the dimensions of self-doubt were significantly negatively correlated with future time insight.The dimensions of time perspective,role attempt,self-assurance and value orientation of high school students' self-identity were significantly positively correlated with career maturity,while the dimensions of authority confusion were significantly negatively correlated with career maturity.The future time insight of high school students is positively correlated with careermaturity.(5)Future time insight is part of the mediating variable between self-identity and career maturity.Based on the above research results,the following educational countermeasures are proposed:First,in the teaching context,to promote the benign development of students' self-identity.Enhance students' time consciousness and form positive future expectation;Encourage students to try new things and dare to challenge themselves;To improve students' confidence;Appropriate guidance to help students establish correct values.Second,guide students to have a clear academic plan and improve their future time insight.Set up the student's future consciousness,completes the academic plan;Cultivate students' positive attitude towards the future;Broaden students' horizons and guide them to pay attention to the future development direction of the world;Pay attention to the study life of the only child,enhance their learning initiative and sense of competition.Third,the theory and practice will be combined to promote the career maturity of high school students better development.To enable students to learn more about vocational knowledge;To help students correct their professional attitude;Carry out the characteristic career planning group psychological counseling;To increase students' career experience and practice opportunities.
