In the new era,with the increasingly fierce international competition and rapid development of the knowledge-based economy society,the fast pace of social development reflect the demands for talents of the time.In addition,behind the competition in comprehensive national strength is the competition for talents,with learning ability as its key factor.To a certain extent,learning ability is the future competitiveness and the driving force for the development of the international community.Given that knowledge-driven and informatization have become an important feature of the country's development,we need to constantly update our knowledge,improve our ability and promote our innovation consciousness.Learning is no longer simple memorization,but to transform,apply,and sublimate what you've learned.So,learning ability will be the key factor to build a more innovative society and excellent comprehensive quality,outstanding ability of self-discipline will prove one's strong learning ability.As a complex and systematic concept,learning ability cannot be improved simply by strengthening a certain aspect.It is the result of the organic integration of various factors and the synthesis of multiple aspects.This paper considers that there are five fundamental elements to make up learning ability--learning motivation,learning perseverance,learning ability,learning transformation ability and learning creativity.The most critical and decisive factor in learning well is the learning ability.Knowing how to learn is more important than leaning itself.The continuous improvement of learning ability in ideological and political class is not only conducive to the study of this lesson,but also can promote the overall learning in senior high school.Therefore,in order to improve the leaning ability in ideological and political class and to realize the individualized and diversified development of students,the educators need to strengthen the cultivation of students' learning ability,effectively stimulate students' learning motivation,enhance students' perseverance,improve the their learning ability,teach students how to transform knowledge,and promote the development of students' creativity.In a word,all the measures match the demands of time,society,education and individuals.On the basis of literature review,this paper is composed of five parts:The first part is the definition of the basic concepts.It is divided into two aspects to describe the connotation,evolution,performance and characteristics of the learning ability and the learning ability of senior high school students in ideological and political class.This part mainly introduces the foundation of this research.The second part discusses the great significance and special importance of improving the learning ability of senior high students in ideological and political class,mainly from social aspect,student aspect,education aspect,and curriculum reform aspect.And this part mainly demonstrates the value of this research.The third part talks about the existing problems and the reasons.By means of questionnaire survey and reviewing literature,this paper analyzes the current situation of high school students' ideological and political learning ability,finds out the problems and points out the shortcomings.This part focuses on the urgency of this research.The fourth part gives the improvement strategies.In view of the problems,reasonable measures should be put forward with purpose,direction and pertinence.This part focuses on the effectiveness of this study.The fifth part discusses how to improve learning ability through teaching case design.The case design shows us some methods to achieve the goals.So this part focuses on the feasibility of the study.
