Based on the six specific requirements of the organization and implementation of Guiding Outline of Mental Health Education in Primary and Middle Schools(revised in 2012)by the Ministry of Education,and under the guidance of the relevant theories of educational management,through questionnaires,interviews and other methods,as well as on-the-spot investigation,this study investigates the current situation of the implementation of mental health education organizations in junior middle schools in Yueyang city.The empirical results are summarized as follows: School administrators have effectively constructed the basic system of mental health education and explored the joint mode of mental health education.Educational administrative departments and schools attach importance to the director of training courses and teachers of mental health education.The leading role of famous mental teachers in mental health education and training has been brought into full play.School administrators attach importance to the influence of campus psychological environment on teachers' mental health,and care about teachers' mental health status.Schools have established students' mental health education files and enriched mental health education materials.Students have many ways to acquire mental health knowledge,and so on.There are following problems in the organization and implementation of mental health education in junior middle schools in Yueyang city.The management mode of school mental health education is not perfect.The investment in the basic configuration of psychological consultation room is not balanced.School mental health education teachers have the phenomenon of "full-time unprofessional,professional not full-time".The popularization of teachers' mental health education and training is not wide.The scientific research enthusiasm of mental health education teachers is not high.The degree of social participation in mental health education needs to be strengthened.This study analyzes the causes of the existing problems and puts forward the improvement measures.The educational administrative department should further standardize the management of mental health education in schools,promote the balanced development of the construction of psychological consultation rooms in schools,and strengthen the construction of teaching staff of mental health education specialty.The educational administrative department should improve the systems of mental health education,comprehensively popularize teachers' mental health education and training,and mobilize teachers' enthusiasm for scientific research on mental healtheducation.School administrators should establish a comprehensive management model of mental health education,bring the basic configuration of psychological consultation room into the work plan and put it into practice,and draw lessons from the experience of foreign teachers in the construction of mental health education.School administrators should vigorously support teachers to carry out mental health education,carry out mental health education and training for all teachers,establish a perfect incentive mechanism for the scientific research of mental health education.School administrators should also strengthen the joint mental health education among schools,families and communities.The head teacher establishes a class management model of all-round infiltration of mental health education.All teachers actively participate in all kinds of mental health education and training.Mental health education teachers should strengthen the scientific research of mental health education.Parents should pay more attention to family education and actively cooperate with school education and community education.
