With the comprehensive promotion of quality education,the comprehensive physical and mental development of students has become the top priority in the educational process.To achieve quality education,in addition to strengthening the development of students' abilities,attention should be paid to the development of the mental health of contemporary students.Mental health education in our country,due to its late start,has many problems.The research in this paper focuses on the current status of the implementation of the mental health education curriculum in Hanzhong Middle School.Three junior high schools in Hanzhong City were selected for case study through a questionnaire survey,and the findings were analyzed to make recommendations based on the problems identified.This article is divided into five parts:The first part is divided into the introductory theory,which mainly contains the research background and meaning,a general overview of domestic and foreign research,research ideas and methods,related concept definition and theoretical basis.The second part is a survey on the current status of the implementation of mental health education in junior high schools in Hanzhong City,and interviews are conducted from the perspective of administrators and teachers.At the same time,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the attention of junior high school students to mental health education classes,the actual situation of mental health classes in schools,the students' own demand for the classes and the evaluation of the implementation of mental health education,and the data analysis concluded that the students considered it necessary and helpful to conduct mental health classes.The third part is the problems in the implementation of mental health education in Hanzhong city,through the interviews with school administrators and mental health teachers and the analysis of the results of student questionnaires,it is found that in the implementation of mental health education in junior high schools at present,there areproblems such as insufficient support for mental health education,unclear positioning,weak professional teachers and no fixed suitable teaching materials.The fourth section is divided into the exploration of countermeasures for the implementation of mental health education in Hanzhong City.First,a correct concept of mental health education should be established;second,schools should increase their attention to and support for mental health education;third,the construction of a team of professional teachers should be strengthened;and finally,a "school-family-society" linkage mechanism for mental health education should be established.The fifth part is a summary and outlook,summarizing the findings and shortcomings of this study and providing a vision for further research on the implementation of mental health education in junior high schools.
