The textbook "Morals and the Rule of Law" was officially used in the fall of 2016,and " Morals and the Rule of Law" for the ninth grade began to be used in 2018.The reform in this new textbook not only meets the need of the development of educational work in the new era,but also a respond to the our party's advanced education concepts and approaches and the strategic thought of governing the country according to law in a new era.The teaching materials about Morals and the Rule of Law not only adjusted the content and the distribution of knowledge points,but also made breakthroughs in every section.Each clause in this new textbook starts with the "Use Your Experience"activities,and ends up with the "Expand Space",interspersed with "Inquiry and Sharing","Related Links",and "Reading Comprehension"."Methods and Skills" and other activities which provide teaching resources and promote students' learning and understanding abilities about morals and rules of law knowledge.This article,based on the textbook "Morals and the Rule of Law",published by the Ministry of education for the ninth grade,chose the topic on the analyses of the content of the activities in the"Morals and rule of law" and using suggestions,and attempts to draw the conclusion from the questionnaire and interviewing Research.After discovering and analyzing problems,the author realizes the status analysis and also the problems of activity-sections in teaching,so making practical suggestions for the usage of this part of the textbook,hoping to give more help to moral and law teachers on the front lineThe research of this subject is divided into four parts.The first part defines the meaning of the activity columns in the textbook "Morals and the Rule of Law".The activity columns mentioned in this article refers to the case and examples in the book published by the Ministry of education for the ninth grade,which is framed with dotted or solid lines and printed with Simsum.based on this,the author personally points out the importance of this activity columns in the textbook"Morals and Rule of Law" during the learning period in junior middle school.The second part is a detailed analysis of the number,type,function and characteristics of the activity columns in the textbook "Morals and the Rule of Law".combining the textbook "Morals and the Rule of Law" in the ninth grade,the author conduct the quantity analysis of the activity columns according to the frame title,column,and graphics;from the point of the materials,the author roughly divides the activity materials into six categories:opinion analysis activities;data-seeking activities,behavior-oriented activities,extracurricular expansion activities,knowledge expansion activities,and situational experience activities.According to teaching practice and the results of the questionnaire survey,the author also made a functional analysis and feature analysis of the activity columns in the textbook.Activity columns parts In "Morals and Rule of Law" for the ninth grade,mainly include four functions:importing learning content,carrying knowledge acquisition,promoting knowledge memory,and realizing transfer of learning.The activity columns in this textbook have distinctive characteristics,which are mainly reflected in the implementation of value education in its design concept,highlighting the main role of students in the activity process,the flexibility and diversity in the activity columns,and the cultivation of disciplinary abilities in activity requirements.In the third part,the author fully affirms the advantage of that activity column,such as the teaching material's being close to the student's life,focusing on the learning process,cultivating innovative ability,multiple answers to questions,and meeting the requirements of the times.And through the students' questionnaire survey,the front-line teachers' feedback and her own teaching experiences,the author found that the activity columns used in practical teaching exist some problems.From the perspective of the teacher,some teachers do not pay attention to the activity columns and even ignore them;the activities are based on exam-oriented education and the methods of evaluation and incentive are simple;the teaching level is limited and the class-activities are difficult to develop;the activity columns are formalized and lack of innovation.According to the perspective of the students,some students also do not pay enough attention to the activity columns;the activity columns are beyond the students' understanding levelThe fourth part,based on the previous analysis of the teaching materials in activity columns and the presen teaching status and problems,the author put forward suggestions on the usage of the textbook "Morals and rule of law".The author suggests that teachers should treat the design of "activity columns" objectively and use this part innovatively,teachers can streamline the curriculum capacity by means of replacing,adapting,supplementing,integrating and extending,and they can select and use representative activity columns to break through the difficulties in teaching.In order to improve the teaching effect,teachers can also adjust teaching ideas to make the teaching content more systematic and more hierarchical,At the same time,these suggestions echo the quantitative analysis,type analysis,functional analysis,feature analysis and existing shortcomings analysis above.
