Social Mutual Aid Blockchain

The COVID-19 epidemic has outbroken in the whole world.Even though the main anti-epidemic forces are led by governments,social mutual aid force is a important supplemen-tary force.There are deficiencies in both transparency and traceability in the area of social mutual aid.Based on the characteristics of social mutual aid and the shortcomings of traditional blockchain,the Social Mutual Aid Blockchain(MAB)has proposed three innovations:1.Based on the distributed system,MAB splits the network into logical shardings,each sharding can calculate and process donations in parallel,thus greatly improving the effi-ciency in handling donation.What's more,the compute nodes in this sharding are allocated from the network by verifiable random functions(VRFs),the compute nodes are dynamically rotated and randomly redistributed to the sharding,which will ensure the unpredictability and transparency of the redistribution.2.MAB divides the traditional blockchain miners into compute nodes and storage nodes.Specialization reduces the equipment requirements for computing nodes.In addition,the calculation nodes use the proof of Activity(PoA)to replace the traditional Proof of Work,which also reduces the energy consumption of compute nodes.3.Block hash storage based on Merkle tree is proposed by MAB.The storage node stores all the blocks of local sharding,but only the block heads of other shards,which saves a lot of storage space compared with the traditional blockchain.At the same time,the traceability of donations is guaranteed because of the traceability of the Merkle tree.In summary,the usage of verifiable random functions(VRFs)renders linear expansibility and transparency,node division and proof of activity lower the demand computing devices,block hash storage ensures traceability and saves storage space.Therefore,MAB is an in-novative social mutual aid blockchain with high operating efficiency and transparency and traceability.MAB can effectively support the field of social mutual aid,improve the social efficiency,reduce the difficulty of tracking and supervision of donations,effectively enhance social trust and promote the core values of socialism.
