Career maturity refers to the readiness of individuals to make suitable career choices at different stages of career development.Career maturity is an important indicator of individual career development.Career maturity is not only significant for students' career choice and future development,but also has an important impact on their current study and life.At present,under the new college entrance examination reform,most high schools have opened career courses,but this kind of career education is not recognized by most subject teachers,they think that career education occupies students' study time,the necessity is not strong.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the relationship between career maturity and learning engagement and their mechanism of action,and to conduct intervention research.This study is divided into two parts:Study 1:a questionnaire survey was conducted among 560 students in a high school in wuhan to investigate the relationship among career maturity,learning motivation and learning engagement.Study 2:on the basis of study 1,24 students with low scores of career maturity and willing to participate in group counseling were selected as subjects from grade 1,and randomly divided into experimental group(12)and control group(12).Then a career-themed group counseling intervention was conducted in the experimental group to explore the changes of high school students' career maturity,learning motivation and learning engagement.The results are as follows:(1)The career maturity,endogenous learning motivation and learning engagement of senior high school students are significantly different in whether they undertake the class committee or not:the career maturity,endogenous learning motivation and learning engagement of students undertaking the class committee are significantly higher than those not undertaking the class committee.(2)The gender difference of high school students' learning engagement is significant,and the score of female students' learning engagement is significantly higher than that of male students.(3)Career maturity of high school students is significantly positively correlated with learning motivation;Significantly positive correlation with learning engagement.There was a significant positive correlation between learning motivation and learning engagement.(4)High school students' learning motivation plays a part in mediating the relationship between career maturity and learning engagement.(5)After the group counseling of students with career-themed campus psychological drama,the career maturity,learning motivation and learning engagement of the experimental group were significantly improved.
