Teacher s career maturity is a kind of attitude and preparation that normal schoolstudents must have as a teacher in the future. Based on the research of over500normal schoolstudents from two normal colleges in Changchun, this research aims to study the relationshipof Professional commitment, Learning engagement and Career maturity. It will also predictthe function of the influence caused by Learning engagement, Professional commitment andCareer maturity.The research results are as follows:1. The score of teacher s career maturity in attitude is above normal level, while thescore of teacher s professional maturity is low. The average score in each dimensionality ofteacher s career maturity in attitude is higher than normal level.2. The sexual difference results in the dimensionality of inner orientation and outerorientation in normal school Students attitude maturity. Girls inner orientation score is higherthan the boys, while the boys outer orientation score is higher.What s more, the majors also affect normal school Students career professional maturityand the dimensionality of inner orientation and determination of normal school Studentsattitude maturity. And there were significant differences between the liberal arts higher thanscience.Besides the independence dimensionality, the overall development level of careermaturity, also the whole dimensionality of career capability and career attitude are showedsignificant difference between normal school students category. Moreover, the behaviors ofnormal students who are charged for free are better than the ones not.Grades have the main affect on the total score of career maturity, the maturity ofprofessional capability and the independence dimensionality of career attitude. The overallmaturity of career and career capability is increased according to the grades growth.3. Learning engagement does not affect obviously between different genders, but theconcentration dimensionality does, and boys are higher than girls.Learning engagement does not affect obviously between different majors or differentgrades.Learning engagement affects significantly based on normal students category, on whichthe free normal students do much better than the ones not. On each dimensionality of learningengagement, the scores of free normal students are all higher than non-free normal students.In addition, they also have significant differences on energy dimensionality and concentrationdimensionality. Professional commitment does not affect obviously among genders, grades and majors.Professional commitment affect obviously in different normal school students. AndCost-free pre-service teachers scores are higher than the ones not.The scores of Cost-free pre-service teachers are higher than the ones not, in normativecommitment and continuance commitment.5.Learning engagement and its energy, devotion and maturity of teachers profession,capability, attitude and inner orientation are related in their study. The concentration,capability maturity and inner orientation of learning engagement are also related.Professional commitment and its dimensionality are related in professional maturity,capability maturity and attitude maturity. It also affects significantly in inner orientation anddeterminacy.Learning engagement with its attached dimensionality and professional commitment arerelated.With the research on hand, professional commitment is the bridge between learningengagement and normal school students maturity.
