This research focused on the relationship among social support, achievement motivation and career maturity to analyze high school students career maturity structure, the current situation and to investigate the impact of achievement motivation、social support on career maturity. Through this study to explore effective ways to improve maturity, provide guidance for graduates and provide effective help to employment of university graduates for the employment service agencies.The subjects include a total of587students from local high school in Xin Yang city. This research make use of The Career Maturity Questionnaire of High School Students revised by Liu Hui in2004,Achievement Motivation Scale^Social Support Questionnaire to investigate, while analyze the characteristic of career maturity in many aspects, and also using correlation analysis^regression analysis、variance analysis of statistical methods and explore the impact of Achievement Motivation Social Support on career maturity.The research shows that:(1)The levels of high school students’ career maturity are average;(2)There is no significant gender differences in high school students’ career maturity, but only in knowledge of job factors of them has significant differences and the boys’average score is significantly higher than the girls’;(3) There are significant grade differences in high school students’career maturity, showing a growth trend with grade;(4) The career maturity significantly different among students from different types of school, The important high school students career maturity is obviously higher than students come from common high schools.(5) There are significant positive correlation between social support and high school students’career maturity, significant positive correlation between achievement motivation and high school students’career maturity.(6) Social support and achievement motivation can be used to predict every dimension score of career maturity. The perceived achievement motivation、social support can explain42.3%of the variance of the graduates’Career maturity.(7)High school students achievement goal orientation partly play a meditative role between part of social support factors and career maturity factors of achievement goal orientation factors and career maturity factors.
