| As a compulsory course set up by Ministry of Education in 2001,Research Study has been of great benefit in cultivating students' exploring and creative awareness through practice,improving their study approaches and overall ability of implementation,and strengthening the relationship between school and society as well as fostering students' social responsibility.New Standards of History Curriculum(2008)have put an emphasis on the Formation Morale as the fundamental task of history courses and attached great importance to ideological orientation and value judgment,which require students to have a good knowledge of Oral History and equip themselves with an ability of recording and analyzing oral historical materials via technological ways.This study combines Oral History as a history research method and History Research Study as a course,probing into ways of History Research Study based on Oral History with purpose of complementing previous studies and enlightening future courses of History Research Study.The first part of the paper,Preface,chiefly introduces the background and significance of the study,current studies both at home and abroad and theoretical framework.And the second part analyzes data from student questionnaires and teacher interviews,presenting current situations including problems and corresponding reasons for History Research Study in Dongguan No.2 High School with strategies regarding enhancement of History Research Study offered.The third part covers the case study of Oral History practice in senior high school.Procedures includes students' careful selection of topics based on related research themes,forming into research study groups,making full preparations before oral interviews and teachers' offering in-time feedbacks to students' research reports.The fourth part provides indications for History Research Study based on Oral History.For one thing,significance of History Research Study should be thought highly of and scientific guidance from teachers as well as active support from society and community are required.For another,a summary of the whole case study is also presented.The novelty of this paper consists in the use of Oral History in Senior High School History Research Study under a new round of fundamental curriculum reform. |
