Culture is the soul and root of the Chinese nation.About five thousand years of ups and downs,the Chinese nation has achieved a brilliant scientific,technological,cultural,historical,and philosophical developments.It is the deepest cultural soft power of the Chinese nation and is worthy of our succession towards the development in future generations.In 2014,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Guidelines for Improving the Education of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture",and it was proposed for the first time at the national level to connect traditional culture with teaching in various disciplines.The "Outline" clearly stated that when revising curriculum standard and conducting curriculum construction,attention should be paid to the proportion of traditional culture.In order to strengthen the application of Chinese excellent traditional culture in various subjects of primary and secondary schools,we must combine the specific teaching needs and integrate traditional culture into it,which shows that traditional culture and national education are inseparable.Thus,increasing the proportion of traditional culture in the curriculum standard of literature,history,art and other disciplines(such as mathematics,physics,chemistry,and biology)becomes highly desirable.,Integrating excellent Chinese traditional culture into middle school chemistry and exploring the teaching strategy of integrating traditional culture into middle school chemistry,which not only meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard,but also confirms to the "Curriculum Thinking" concept put forward by Secretary Xi Jinping,students can learn while learning knowledge.The broadness and profoundness of Chinese culture establish cultural self-confidence and cultivates national pride,thereby promoting the comprehensive development of students through various qualities.At present,there are many studies on the integration of traditional culture into the teaching ofliterature and history with the integration of traditional culture into the teaching of science has not been given sufficient attention.Moreover,the study of traditional culture integration into chemistry teaching has a relatively simple idea,mainly to collect traditional cultural materials,but lacks in systematic collation.The application method is mainly proposed to introduce in the classroom,and the traditional culture is presented directly.Aiming at this situation,this work mainly focused on the strategy of integrating traditional culture into middle school chemistry teaching through literature research,questionnaires,interviews,case analysis and other research methods,with provided new ideas for integrating traditional culture into middle school chemistry teaching.Through a questionnaire survey of 200 middle school students about traditional culture,it was learned that most of the students believe that traditional culture can be integrated into Chinese,history and other disciplines.However,they are skeptical about whether traditional culture can be penetrated in chemistry teaching;interviewed teachers and learned the dilemma of integrating traditional culture into chemistry teaching lies in the tight schedule of preparation time.It is difficult to find suitable traditional cultural materials,and the schedule of students is tight.Based on the survey results,according to the principles of matching,moderation,liveliness,and fun,the content of middle school knowledge is divided into three different blocks.Thus,the traditional cultural material library is established from the three aspects of inorganic chemistry knowledge,organic chemistry knowledge,and chemical reaction types for the selection of teaching work.At the same time,three teaching strategies are proposed:(1)the establishment of school-based courses.In brief,development of school-based course Menghui Ancient Chemistry based on the history of ancient science and technology.The selected content from the history of ancient science and technology which met the middle school chemistry teaching and cognitivecharacteristics of middle school students were compiled in chapters withadopted formative evaluation as the main and end the supplemented evaluation by sexual evaluation.Taking "Magic Fire Raiders" as an example,teaching design is conducted from three aspects such as historical materials,chemical principles,and practical applications.(2)As classroom teaching materials,Chinese traditional culture can be used in chemistry classroom teaching materials,and the specific teaching design of important compounds of iron and important applications of common alloys integrated with traditional culture.(3)Improvement of exercises after class.Screening the chemistry part of the college entrance examination questions from 1995 to the present,it is found that traditional culture appeared in the national examination papers that started as early as 2015,and then began to appear in the national examination papers and local college entrance examination papers.It is found that the types of exercises in traditional exercises are mainly multiple-choice questions,and a few of them appear in the stem of the elective part;the investigation content is mainly the material properties,experimental operations,and design the case of the exercises for analysis.
