In order to thoroughly implement the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening Education Reform and Promoting Quality Education in an All-round Way",the Binhu District Education Bureau of Wuxi City has tried out the "211"project guidance for primary and secondary schools in Binhu District to implement physical education,art and science and technology education in schools.Schools have started the education construction of the second class of physical education since 2010.Through years of teaching development,on the one hand,schools have carried out the second class of physical education.On the other hand,due to the lack of specific requirements and methods for carrying out the second class of physical education,schools can only touch Stone to cross the river.The effectiveness of the second class of physical education needs to be studied.It is hoped that through the research on the activities,teachers and students' participation in the second class of school physical education,the problems existing in the second class of physical education and the problems occurring in the second class of physical education can be found out,and conclusions can be drawn according to these situations,so as to improve the development of the second class of school physical education.In order to deeply investigate the development of the second class of physical education in junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City,to better help schools to carry out the second class of physical education,and to provide some reference for the development of the second class of physical education in junior high schools in Wuxi City.This paper takes the second class of physical education set up by eight junior high schools in Binhu District,namely Liyuan Middle School,Hudai Middle School,Binhu Middle School,Shuixiu Middle School,Meiliang Middle School,Hecheng Middle School,Jiangnan University Affiliated Middle School and Xuelang Middle School,as the research object,and takes the administrators,physical education teachers and students taking part in the second class of physical education in Binhu District junior high school as the research object,using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,mathematical statistics and other research methods.To investigate the opening,teachers,participation of students,attitudes of students,teachers and managers towards the second class of physical education in junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Conclusion:(1)All junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City have carried out the second class of physical education.(2)The primary goal of developing the second class of physical education in junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City is to cultivate students'personality development,followed by the training of the school's sports reserve talents to prepare for the district games.(3)There is no syllabus for the second class of physical education in junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City.The teaching materials are "Physical Education and Health(Level 4)"(People's Education Edition)compiled by the Research and Development Center for Physical Education and Curriculum Teaching Materials,but the utilization rate of teaching materials by teachers is not high.All of them have made corresponding classroom unit teaching plans,but they basically do not carry out the second class of physical education according to the plans.Every semester,the second class of physical education is held at least 6 times,at most 15 times or more,usually 10 times or less.Only Hecheng Middle School and other schools can really open up the second class of physical education.Of all the junior high schools in Binhu District,only Liyuan Middle School evaluated the learning results of the second class of physical education,while the other 7 schools did not.(4)The type of PE second class in junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City is mainly practical class.The teaching methods adopted are explanation method,demonstration method and repeated training method,supplemented by competition method.The organization form of practice class is mainly the form of training athletes,supplemented by activity class and physical education class.The arranged teaching contents are mainly basketball and football(which are the competition items in the district games),followed by table tennis,and fashionable items such as yoga are not offered.(5)The administrators of the junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City attach importance to and support the second class of physical education,but the degree of attention and support is generally in the majority.(6)The teachers in the second class of physical education in junior high schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City are mainly school teachers,supplemented by external teachers,mostly male teachers.Most of the teachers are 40-50 years old and have been teaching for more than 10 years,and are qualified for the second class of physical education.Teachers attach importance to and support the second class of physical education,but to a lesser extent.Teachers' enthusiasm for teaching in the second class of physical education is directly influenced by the attitude of the school's administrators towards the second class of physical education.(7)The students of the junior high school in Binhu District of Wuxi City like the second class of physical education.The motivation of students to participate in the second class of physical education is mainly their interests and hobbies,followed by improving their athletic ability.Except for a few students who attend the second class of physical education,the teachers choose them in advance,mainly through independent choice,followed by administrative arrangements.2.Countermeasures:(1)All junior middle schools in Binhu District of Wuxi City should develop school-based curriculum for the second class of physical education,develop school characteristics and meet the individual development needs of students.Each school establishes the evaluation system for the second class of physical education,and fully opens the second class of physical education,and has corresponding solutions for special situations.(2)Teachers should make full use of the teaching materials,carry out the teaching of the second class of physical education according to the plan,and arrange the teaching time of each class reasonably.In the teaching method,we can also use the electric teaching method to teach the second class of physical education,so that students can understand the teaching content more intuitively.(3)Wuxi Binhu District junior high school should set up various projects according to the individual needs of students to stimulate students' interest in the second class of physical education.As far as possible to meet the interests and needs of students,enrich the second class of physical education.(4)Strengthen the attention of administrators,teachers and students to the second class of physical education.Managers can be invited to participate in the second class of physical education on a regular basis,so that managers can intuitively feel the fun brought by the second class of physical education,and show the importance of the second class of physical education.Teachers should be trained regularly to strengthen their teaching ability and treat the second class of physical education correctly.The school strengthens the propaganda of the second class of physical education,so that every student can understand the function of the second class of physical education and instill the idea of lifelong physical education.(5)Make full use of social resources,introduce full-time coaches,and improve the faculty.Through this visit and observation,some schools' internal venues and facilities are closely linked with the outside world.For example,some sports clubs will use the school's venues and facilities for teaching on weekends,and the clubs correspondingly employ a lot of more skilled coaches,while their intangible wealth is their professional teaching experience.Then,the school can communicate with these clubs,hire a full-time coach from the club in the form of renting the venue,and teach specifically for the second class of physical education.At the same time,it can make up for the shortage of teachers in some schools.It can also understand the latest professional teaching concepts and teaching methods in this way,which can make physical education teachers have more space to improve their professional level Room.(6)The junior middle schools in Binhu District can establish contact,learn from each other and exchange the experience of developing the second class of physical education.Schools with weak teachers can also borrow physical education teachers from schools with strong teachers through communication to complete the teaching task of the second class of physical education,which can not only complete the teaching task of the second class of physical education,but also share the teaching experience with each other inadvertently.Cooperation with universities or vocational schools is not a solution.Selecting the special sports interns needed by universities not only solves the classroom tasks of the University,but also gives the interns the opportunity to exercise.As long as they have a successful experience,the cooperation relationship between schools can be established.
