As the carrier of mother tongue teaching,Chinese curriculum has an unshirkable responsibility in inheriting and carrying forward the excellent Chinese civilization,which is the key link to complete the cultural mission.Idioms were originally called "Cheng Yan".As a special form of Chinese vocabulary,their learning and accumulation play an irreplaceable role.On the road of learning Chinese,words accumulation is the foundation.Chinese language and culture are broad,profound,inclusive,and many words have been passed down.Idioms are called living fossils in the language field.Although they have been screened and tempered in history,they are still widely used in various living contexts.Idioms can promote the expressiveness,writing ability and literary accomplishment that need to be conveyed.Idioms are the essence of Chinese traditional culture.They contain rich cultural allusions and profound values.Learning idioms can help students understand national spirit and historical civilization more deeply.Especially for middle school students,this is a vital stage for them to form a nice personality.Learning idioms helps them to develop healthy,positive values.Based on this,Chinese educators must regard idioms in junior high school as one of the key points of teaching,not only to improve students'Chinese literacy through idioms,but also to learn the cultural essence from idioms,and to get the most valuable enlightenment from the most philosophical and rational idioms.In addition to the foreword and peroration,the paper consists of three parts.The first chapter introduces the general situation of idioms.The first section generalizes the definition of idioms refer to previous research;the second section sorts out the sources of idioms,that is,historical allusions,fables,literary classics,myths and legends,foreign cultures,new words of the times,etc.;the third section analyzes the common traits of idioms,that is,stability and integrity.The second part states the purpose and content of idiom teaching in junior high school,and analyzes the purpose of idiom teaching from the perspective of language expression,ability training and cultural heritage.Taking the current integrated Chinese textbook for junior high school as an example,it makes statistics on the basic situation of idioms and four aspects of teaching content:reading and writing idioms correctly,understanding idiom meanings accurately,and using idioms to enhance language performance Power.The third chapter,as the focus of the article,mainly expounds the optimization ways of idiom teaching in junior high school,that is,enriching the resources of idiom course and developing different idiom teaching materials through advertising forms,school-based courses,idiom classification manuals,etc.;the penetration and integration of idiom teaching and history,geography,music and other subjects;exploring a variety of idiom special teaching forms to stimulate students in the form of performance Interest in learning idioms;actively organize various competitions to improve students' enthusiasm in the competition;Integrating new media and innovating idiom teaching with the help of network technology.Intimately tied up with the inherent cultural characteristics of Han nationality,as a language essence and sp:iritual product,the Chinese language is a great carrier of the development and dissemination of the fine Chinese culture.Idioms can be considered to the bronze mirror of national culture.Idioms accumulated for a long time can show the various forms of the Han nationality in different historical periods for future generations.Under the background of vigorously promoting national culture,idioms should be paid enough attention.Therefore,this paper focuses on the teaching of idioms in junior high school,hoping to arouse the Chinese educators' deeper thinking on Idiom Teaching in junior high school,and further explore more effective and meaningful teaching methods.
