Grammata Serica-Article Code is a literary theory book written in the early 20th century which contains a wealth of essay writing theories.Based on the current status of Chinese writing teaching in senior high school,this thesis applies text intensive reading and literature research methods to make a thorough inquiry on the article writing theories of Grammata Serica-Article Code.Then the thesis comprehensively uses questionnaires and case analysis methods to explore the enlightenment of the writing theories to Chinese writing teaching in high school trying to provide references for solving the existing problems in writing teaching.The first chapter analyzes the academic and social background,the compilation purpose and features of Grammata Serica-Article Code,which lay the foundation for the dissertation.The background of the time in the early 20th century and Lai Yuxun's personal study experiences constitute the social and academic background of the completion of Grammata Sericao-Article Code.It is precisely based on the background of the work and the situation of writing theories at that time that Lai Yuxun compiled Grammata Sericao-Article Code to achieve the purpose of preserving the quintessence of the country and guiding future generations in writing.The work also shows distinctive features in content and structure.The second chapter uses the text-based reading method to show the writing theories in Grammata Sericao-Article Code from multiple perspectives which provide a solid theoretical support for the development of the research.It includes two aspects of theories.In writing training,it advocates classification of the genres,pragmatic writing and the learning of Chinese ancient writing techniques based on the classics.In addition,it proposes that writing training should attach importance to rules of composition and be organized in an orderly and progressive manner.In the law of composition,it attaches importance to composition structure and taboos in writing.The third chapter comprehensively adopts the combination of classroom observation and questionnaires to collect and analyze relevant survey data to truly show the current problems in writing training and the law of composition in Chinese writing in senior high school.Then the paper elaborates the enlightenment of the writing theories in Grammata Sericao-Article Code to the current Chinese writing teaching in high school,combining the current situation of Chinese writing teaching in high school and the curriculum concepts put forward by the Chinese curriculum standards of ordinary high school.In the terms of writing training,teachers should distinguish various article genres and strengthen practical writing training.Besides,teachers are expected to use Chinese classics as a model for teaching to inherit the excellent writing traditions and follow the gradual writing law.In terms of the law of composition,teachers should implement constitutional structure training to strengthen students' logical thinking.At the same time,foresee the taboos in writing and take measures to circumvent and improve the quality of students' writing.
