Research On The Countermeasures Of The New College Entrance Examination Reform

The college entrance examination is not only one of the largest admission examinations in China,but also an important way to select talents in a unified,fair and objective manner throughout the country.It is related to the development of the country,the educational development in various provinces and cities,the vital interests of each family and the future of hundreds of millions of students.Since the resumption of the college entrance examination in 1977,in order to meet the needs of development,China's college entrance examination has undergone many reforms.In 2014,the State Council issued the Implementation Opinions on Deepening Reforms to the Student Examination and Admission System,marking the beginning of a new round of college entrance examination reforms.The reforms have started with pilot projects and been implemented in due orders.In 2014,Shanghai and Zhejiang took the lead in carrying out reform pilots.In 2017,the first students accepting the reforms smoothly ended the college entrance examination,marking the success of the first batch of the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination.The second and third batches of the pilot projects were also officially launched in other 12 provinces and cities in 2017 and 2018,respectively,and the Reforms are scheduled to be launched nationwide in 2020.This examination and admission reform is the most comprehensive and systematic reform in China's history,aiming at developing basic education,benefiting scientific talent selection and solving the fairness of college entrance examination.The new college entrance examination reform has played a great role in promoting the development of high school education in China,and also encouraged the reform of junior high school and university education.In the process of practical reform,the pilot areas constantly draw lessons from the practice,and implement and adjust the reform plan according to the regional specific conditions.With the continuous progress of the pilot work,the reform has achieved initial success with many theoretical results,while various similar and distinguished problems are inevitable.The implementation of the reform requires the active participation and support of all parties,and is also affected by many other factors.The current economic and social development and education status in Shanxi Province is not optimistic enough,therefore the difficulty in implementing the new college entrance examination reform should not be underestimated.This paper has carried out a detailed study of the new college entrance examination reform.Through the specific interpretation of the implementation of the education reform adopted by the Third Plenum of the 18th CPC Central Committee,the author assembled and annotated the first three batches of reform pilot situation including the current system and measures.Based on the investigation and comparative study of the current situation,the author summarized the similarities and various influential factors,further found 11 types of problems,generalized the experience from 8 aspects and the changes in 6 aspects,and provided constructiveness to the preparations for the new college entrance examination reform from the macro,meso and micro levels.At the end of the thesis,the author put forward four suggestions in response to the status quo of Shanxi's reform,hoping to contribute to the development and improvement after the implementation of the new college entrance examination reform.
