With The Ministry of Education promulgated "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 version)"(hereinafter referred to as "17th Edition Curriculum Standards")in 2017 in line with the progress of new curriculum reforms,which emphasized that the teaching content should focus on large concepts and be effective Carrying out conceptual teaching helps students to form a systematic knowledge network,and can help students to understand concepts,this also shows that high school biology teaching needs to pay attention to concept teaching.Conventional teaching methods are not conducive to giving play to students' subjective initiative,so that the understanding of concepts is not deep enough.The model thinking method is to use the method of model construction to analyze and solve problems,and use the model thinking method in teaching to design teaching,and guide students to construct the corresponding model to understand the concept more comprehensively and deeply.After analyzing the content of the module "Genetics and Evolution",this article selects some chapters for comparative experiments.The control group used the conventional teaching method in the natural state without any interference.The experimental group used model thinking to carry out teaching practice.The teaching was carried out in the following seven steps:creating a situation,stimulating interest,asking questions,clarifying tasks,and constructing a conceptual model.Constructing physical models,constructing mathematical models,forming scientific concepts,andteaching reflection.Among them,the teacher in the process of constructing the model needs to choose and use it appropriately according to the teaching content,so that students can scientifically abstract and summarize the prototype in the process of constructing the model,and use analysis,synthesis and other methods to simplify the prototype and make it difficult.Thereby really get the concept.After the end of teaching practice,the targeted thinking papers are used to test the model thinking ability of the students in the control group and the experimental group.The analysis of the experimental results shows that the use of the model thinking method for teaching is beneficial to students in acquiring biological concepts and can promote the development of student model thinking.Using model thinking method to provide a certain reference for teaching.
