Reading the whole book is an important part of Chinese teaching.Trend based on the current Chinese teaching reform,this paper from analysis for the artistic value of the"Notre Dame DE Paris",this paper discusses its control methods,dramatic and Notre Dame anthropomorphic three distinctive artistic features,and focuses on four aspects of students' Chinese subject core literacy,expounds the "Notre Dame DE Paris" use of language and thinking development value,aesthetic value and cultural value.In the form of questionnaire,this paper investigates the status quo of the reading of the whole book'Notre Dame DE Paris" by high school students in jincheng city,and analyzes and reflects on it.On this basis,from the design of teaching objectives,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation three aspects of emphasis on the "Notre Dame DE Paris"the entire book reading teaching implementation.Based on this,the author finally discusses the significance of reading the whole book and the problems that should be paid attention to in the process of reading teaching.
