Twenty-first Century is the information age.It is the new century of science and technology.In recent years,many new technologies have sprung up,such as artificial intelligence,cloud technology and so on.Making "Technology is the first productive force","Knowledge changing destiny" and other familiar words which are beyond our reach,getting closer and closer.The Ministry of Education put foward the "13th Five-Year plan" of educational informatization which points that "We should greatly enhance the ability of information service,Education,Teaching and Management...".State Council's " The 13th Five-Year plan of national intellectual property protection and utilization" is explicitly stated that "We should thoroughly implement the strategy of intellectual property rights,deepen the reform in the field of intellectual property rights,and strictly protect intellectual property rights..."As a new form of Internet technology and Education,online education embodies many characteristics of the two industries of Internet and Education.Their characteristics of intellectual property are inextricably linked with traditional industries and there are also some differences.How to protect intellectual property rights in online education is a brand-new topic,which is also the focus of the discussion in this paper.With the continuous development of science and technology,new problems will emerge one after another.This requires the government to solve the problems of development with the vision of development,base on the perspective of sustainable development,to build a new platform,new mechanism and new ideas for online education intellectual property protection.The specific research methods included combines empirical analysis with theoretical analysis,adopts comparative analysis,literature reading,case study and so on.The conclusion is that to do the intellectual property protection cannot rely solely on "Passive defense",but also "Take the initiative to attack".While the government implements the protection of intellectual property rights in the traditional sense,it should also promote the operation of intellectual property rights.Specific measures include the goverment actively promoting the reform of the system and mechanism,providing the building of the early warning mechanism for the intellectual property rights of small and medium-sized enterprises,strengthening the cultivation of intellectual property management personnel,and the enterprises increasing the investment in the R&D,improving the technical level of the protection of intellectual property,creating the alliance of intellectual property rights,developing mutual assistance and cooperation in intellectual property.This will certainly provide a healthy and benign intellectual property protection environment for the development of online education.
