Ancient poetry embodies the fine traditional Chinese culture and is a shining pearl in the treasure house of Chinese culture.With the comprehensive use of primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the ministry,the significant changes in the number of ancient poetry items in the textbooks highlight the value of ancient poetry,which also means that the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools has risen to a new height.In the era of knowledge economy,"core accomplishment" emerges at the historic moment.On the basis of the research of "core literacy",the Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)put forward and clarified the "core literacy of Chinese",and advocated that Chinese teaching should cultivate students' core literacy of Chinese from four dimensions:"language construction and application","thinking development and improvement","aesthetic appreciation and creation","cultural understanding and inheritance ".Therefore,from the perspective of Chinese core accomplishment,this paper reexamines the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools and discusses ways to improve it,so as to fulfill the fundamental task of education of "cultivating people with morality" and better train "people with all-round development".This paper takes the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools as the research object,takes the Chinese teaching materials compiled in primary schools as the research scope,takes the Chinese curriculum standard as the guidance,and fully combines the current teaching situation of ancient poetry in primary schools to conduct in-depth research on the basis of Chinese core accomplishment.This paper makes clear the significance and value of teaching ancient poetry in primary schools based on the core quality of Chinese,and emphasizes that it will be beneficial to the improvement of students' quality in language,thinking,aesthetics and culture.However,the current situation of teaching ancient poetry in primary schools is not satisfactory,and there are still many problems.According to the in-depth research,these problems are caused by teachers,students,education system,teaching evaluation system and other factors.Therefore,in view of the existing problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools,this paper proposes effective strategies and improvement approaches from the perspective of Chinese core accomplishment,and elaborates specifically from the four dimensions of language,thinking,aesthetics and culture.In short,based on the core quality of Chinese and the existing problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools,this paper further explores the causes behind the problems and proposes practical teaching strategies.Therefore,it is expected to promote the cultivation of students' Chinese core accomplishment,promote the improvement of teaching quality of ancient poetry in primary schools,and provide ideas and references for first-line Chinese teachers.
