The high-quality development of middle school education and teaching needs a large number of outstanding middle school teachers to support and lead.The training of excellent middle school teachers requires local undergraduate colleges to innovate the training mode of teacher education talents and improve the quality of talent training.In order to meet the development needs of basic education,deepen the reform of teacher education,the Ministry of Education has issued "Opinions on the Implementation of Excellent Teacher Training Plan" and "Opinions on the Implementation of Excellent Teacher Training Plan 2.0",aiming to cultivate a group of high-level professional middle school teachers with noble ethics,firm ideals and beliefs,deep professional knowledge,superb education and teaching ability,life-long learning and sustainable development awareness.Under the guidance of national policy,how to reform the pre-service education mode of middle school teachers and cultivate professional middle school teachers is the urgent task.Under the trend of excellent teacher training,this paper takes the pre-service education of middle school teachers in Shaanxi local undergraduate colleges as the research object.Based on the existing research results and extensive reading of relevant literature,comprehensively using a variety of research methods to investigate 5 local undergraduate colleges in Shaanxi Province,analyze the status quo,find problems,consider the causes,and carefully propose improvement strategies on this basis,hoping to provide some new ideas for the high-quality development of pre-service education for middle school teachers in local undergraduate colleges in Shaanxi.Through investigation,this study found that the main problems of pre service education of middle school teachers in Shaanxi local undergraduate colleges are as follows: normal students' career sentiment is not strong,and their awareness ofindependent development is weak;the course structure is unreasonable and the course content is updated slowly;the teaching mode is conservative and the innovation of teaching method is not enough;practical teaching is formalized and the quality effect is not good;the number of teachers is insufficient,and professional quality needs to be strengthened.The cause of the problem can be summarized into five aspects: firstly,the value orientation of normal education is biased;the second is the decline of the actual status of the normal major;thirdly,the adverse effects of "decentralized management" of teacher education;fourthly,the negative orientation of the college evaluation mechanism;fifthly,the "trinity" collaborative training is not in place.Based on the practical problems and causes,combined with the spirit concept of excellent teacher training plan,this study proposes an improvement strategy for the pre-service education of middle school teachers in local undergraduate colleges in Shaanxi from the perspective of excellent teachers: First,take excellence as the guide and perfect the value of normal education;second,Innovative teacher education curriculum and teaching;third,reform the school's internal teacher education management system and mechanism;fourth,improve the quality evaluation system of teacher education talent training;fifth,strengthen the construction of teachers;sixth,effectively implement the "Trinity" collaborative education work.
