General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China that "the law,the formula of the world,and the instrument of all things." The cultivation of the awareness of the rule of law is an important part of national education.The newly revised ideological and political curriculum standards determine the rule of law awareness as one of the core qualities of the discipline.It can be seen that the construction of a socialist country ruled by law has been extended from the previous adult legal education to the practical law education in the secondary education stage.Cultivating middle school students' "law-awareness" literacy is the due requirement of governing the country according to law and is an important content of the construction of the rule of law.That being the case,as an important position for cultivating middle school students' awareness of the rule of law,strengthening ideological education and optimizing the education method of the rule of law have become the required requirements of ideological and political courses.Case teaching method is a teaching method that is widely used in the field of education and has extremely high value.The basic law of the cultivation of legal consciousness of case teaching and the requirements of the new curriculum reform have achieved good results in the cultivation of students' multiple abilities and the application of knowledge.Therefore,the author takes case teaching as the starting point in this article,trying to focus on the mechanism,value,application status,and practice points of the case teaching method in the cultivation of middle school students' awareness of the rule of law.Adhere to the innovative thinking of seeking truth from facts,and explore case teaching methods that meet the requirements of the cultivation of the rule of law awareness,as well as the characteristics of the content of the rule of law teaching in high school politics and the cognitive characteristics of students,in order to better implement the core literacy training task.There are five parts in this article: The first part is the introduction,including the background and significance of the selected topic,the current status of domestic and foreign scholars' research on this topic,the main methods of research and theinnovations and deficiencies of this topic.The second part is an overview of the relevant theories of case teaching and the rule of law awareness,including the definition of the concept of rule of law awareness and case teaching,exploring the feasibility and unique value of case teaching for the cultivation of the awareness of rule of law,and making the necessary theoretical support for the research of this article And guidance.The third part is to combine the teaching experience,face the student questionnaire survey and teacher interview survey,and understand the current situation of ideological and political class case teaching.Explore existing problems and their impact on the cultivation of students' awareness of the rule of law.The fourth part is to put forward suggestions on the implementation of case teaching in ideological and political courses based on the cultivation of the rule of law.Before the class,we must target the rule of law education and select cases scientifically;in the class,we should effectively carry out case studies around the themes of respecting the law,observing the law,and usage;The fifth part is the problems that need to be paid attention to during the implementation of case teaching: the correct handling of the relationship between teacher teaching and student learning;the correct handling of the relationship between systematic learning of legal knowledge and case studies;the correct understanding of the difference between case teaching and example teaching contact.
