Young teachers in colleges and universities are the main force in college teaching.They perform the duty of teaching and educating people and shoulder the important task of training socialist modern talents with all-round development of morality,intelligence and physique for the country.This research takes the teaching ability of young teachers in provincial colleges and universities as the theme and aims at improving the teaching quality.On the basis of learning from lifelong education theory,teacher professional development theory,humanistic education theory and related research results,and following the methodology of combining qualitative research and quantitative analysis,this research investigates the present situation,existing problems and the root causes of the problems of the teaching ability of young teachers in colleges and universities in China from five aspects: teaching cognitive ability,teaching design ability,teaching implementation ability,teaching reflection ability and teaching research ability,and puts forward suggestions on improving the teaching ability of young teachers in colleges and universities according to the research findings.This study is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction part,which gives a brief description of the problems,research purposes and significance,research ideas,research contents,research methods,etc.in order to pave the way and guide the smooth development of this research.The second chapter is the literature review part,which systematically combs the relevant research literature,and on this basis,grasps the existing research status and future research trends of the problem of teachers' teaching ability,and also makes theoretical preparations for the development of research tools.The third chapter is the theoretical research part,which studies the connotation,components and theoretical basis of young teachers' teaching ability in provincial universities,providing a basic theoretical analysis framework for subsequent analysis and problem solving.The fourth chapter is the research part of the present situation,referring to the analysis framework constructed by the above theoretical research institute,using the methods of documentary research,interview and questionnaire to collect the first-hand data on the research of young teachers' teaching ability in colleges and universities,and describing the present situation of youngteachers' teaching ability in colleges and universities through text analysis and statistical analysis of these data,exploring the main problems existing in its operation and related influencing factors,so as to provide practical basis for countermeasures research.The fifth chapter is the countermeasure research part,through the systematic analysis of the teaching ability of university teachers,aiming at the disadvantages of young teachers' teaching ability,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the government,schools and teachers.
