Primary education is the beginning of compulsory education in our country.Nowadays,parents pay more and more attention to children's education.The head teacher is the implementer of the school education plan,and class management is related to the healthy development of students.The full and effective implementation of education by primary school class teachers is conducive to the all-round development and lifelong development of students.The head teacher's work is professional,complicated,serious and dynamic,which is a great challenge to the newly-appointed head teacher.The object of this study is the new head teacher in primary school.The author takes YW Primary School in Changsha as the research site,and through participatory observation,interviews and literature research,finds some problems in the class management of the new head teacher in primary school: the effect of routine class management is not good,which is mainly reflected in the class cadre election,seat arrangement and health duty arrangement,etc.Lack of experience in class activity management is mainly reflected in class meeting activities,research activities and school characteristic activities.Lack of ability in coordination and management ofclass education is mainly reflected in problem students,communication between home and school,and communication between science teachers,etc.Based on the analysis of the cases of the class management of the new head teachers in primary schools,this study thinks that the reasons for the above problems are: the new head teachers' class management concept is biased,too biased towards autocratic class management,laissez-faire class management and nanny class management;The new head teacher lacks professional knowledge of class management,and his knowledge of education management,management psychology and class culture is not systematic and profound enough.The new head teacher's class management professional ability is insufficient,and the command ability,organization ability and coordination ability need to be strengthened urgently.In order to solve the above problems,this study puts forward the following strategies: the new class teacher should update the concept of class management in a timely manner,implement the national class management,implement all-round development,and practice words and deeds;The new head teacher should consolidate the professional knowledge of class management,fully learn the knowledge of educational management,deeplyunderstand the knowledge of management psychology,and systematically learn the knowledge of class culture.The new head teacher should also improve the professional ability of class management,find out the self-role orientation,play different roles,adjust the psychological state in time,learn more actively,and learn more from the old predecessors.
