Oral communication is one of the earliest practical activities in human history.Being able to listen and speak is the basic ability for people to use language for social communication.Chinese curriculum standard of compulsory education(2011 Edition)also clearly points out that "oral communication is a necessary ability of modern citizens." For children,only by mastering language as an intermediary tool can they acquire a lot of knowledge and skills,internalize the knowledge absorbed in the social environment,and realize individual development.Before entering primary school,most of children's language is formed in natural conditions,which is arbitrary.After entering school,children have systematic language learning opportunities.The lower grade of primary school is the key period of children's language learning.Oral communication teaching can effectively improve their oral expression ability,help them develop good listening and speaking attitude and language habits,and promote their language ability development.In contrast,the current situation of oral communication teaching in Chinese teaching in primary schools in China is rather awkward,which has not been given due attention and treatment.There are many problems,mainly manifested in the emphasis on intelligence rather than emotion;neglect of spoken language,oral communications written;oral communication skills;lack of class hours;channels are simple;separation of listening and speaking.In view of the above problems,we must start from the teaching practice of teachers,in order to adapt to the new requirements put forward by the integrated edition of Chinese teaching materials put into full use.Teachers should change the old concept of oral communication,optimize the teaching design of oral communication,broaden the channels of cultivating the oral communication ability of junior students,and improve the teaching evaluation system of oral communication,so as to achieve good teaching results.
