In the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,there are very few studies on the Chinese teaching of zero-based middle school students in Thailand.The initial stage has a profound impact on the development of subsequent teaching work,especially for novice teachers.Most of our Chinese teacher volunteers are undergraduate graduates or masters who have no actual teaching experience,and the teaching methods for zero-based students are quite immature.According to the statistics of the Confucius Institute Annual Report from 2006 to 2018,the number of volunteers in Thailand in 2018 was as high as 1,600,accounting for about 28.2% of the total number of volunteers sent to Thailand that year.It can be seen that Chinese teacher volunteers in Thailand are a large group.Therefore,I would like to take the school I teach as an example to investigate the current status and existing problems of Chinese teaching to zero-based middle school students in Thailand,and to explore the effective treatment methods for Chinese teacher volunteers when facing such a situation,and also provide some references for Chinese teacher volunteers who come to Thailand in the future.This article combines the author's own teaching practiceand related discipline theories such as psychology and pedagogy.and analyzes how to better start the Chinese teaching of Thai middle school students from the three elements of students,teachers and teaching carriers.The first part of the article explains the research status and literature review;the second part investigates the situation of the school,the school curriculum,teaching management,the use of teachers and teaching materials,the situation of learners,and the work situation of Chinese teachers in schools.The actual teaching cases are given and analyzed.The third part analyzes the many disadvantages and reasons of the school's Chinese teaching work.The fourth part focuses on the first Chinese class and analyzes the influence of students and teachers on classroom teaching in the form of questionnaire.Finally,the author here makes some suggestions on teaching.
