With the implementation of the "Belt and Road" policy,the world has set off a wave of learning Chinese,and Mauritius has followed the trend of world development and opened Chinese courses in elementary schools.The Confucius Institute at the University of Mauritius has been in operation for more than three years,and Chinese language learning members range from elementary school students to college students and the public.This article takes the children of the Confucius Institute at the University of Mauritius as the research object,takes the ballad teaching method as the lead,and uses the action research method as the fulcrum to explore how the ballad method can be effectively used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Through two rounds of teaching action research,it has been found that the use of ballad teaching can effectively improve children's phonetic teaching in Chinese teaching,which can make students read the text more fluently.At the same time,the combination of ballad and other teaching methods is more conducive to the development of teaching activities.The implementation of ballad teaching has solved the current difficulties of Chinese teaching in Mauritius children's classes,and increased the interest of children in learningChinese.This article is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research status of action research and ballad law,the purpose and significance of the thesis research,and the thinking and methods of research.The second part is the feasibility analysis of implementing the ballad method.Through field investigations,we can understand the situation of Chinese teaching in the children's class of the Confucius Institute in Mauritius.Through interviews with students and parents and oral tests on the students in the children's class,we find that students have appeared in Chinese learning.This problem lays the foundation for action research of ballad teaching methods.The third part is to conduct the first round of teaching action research on Chinese learning in children's classes.Designing teaching programs for children's Chinese phonetic problems and classroom learning atmosphere in elementary Chinese comprehensive lessons and making full use of the advantages of ballad teaching methods to improve phonetic teaching problems.Classroom quizzes and classroom tests assess whether the ballad teaching method has improvedchildren's Chinese pronunciation problems.The fourth part is based on the effect of the first round of teaching action research,and the second round of teaching action research is aimed at the question of whether the children in the class can read the text fluently,and the combination of the ballad method and other teaching methods.Analyze the students 'oral test situation and investigate the students' opinions on the ballad teaching method.The fifth part reflects on the results of the two rounds of action research,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the ballad law in each round of action,and elaborates the connection of the ballad law in the two rounds of teaching action research.At the same time,suggestions are made on how to implement the ballad teaching method for elementary Chinese comprehensive courses.
