Adult higher education is an important part of China's higher education system and an important way to cultivate talents.As an important part of adult correspondence education,physical education has been pushed to the forefront of educational innovation.With the advance of teaching reform,adult correspondence education has made certain development,but with it comes all kinds of teaching problems.Among them,the main body of physical education teaching is adult education students,and its special characteristics are the important factors that restrict and influence the quality of teaching.In the face of the particularity of adult physical education major,does the supply side and the demand side achieve a balance in teaching? What is the cause of the supply dislocation And how to optimize teaching according to the theory of supply-side reform? This article draws lessons from and applies the thinking of “supply-side reform”,starts with the contradiction between“teaching” and “learning” to supply and demand,and reveals the disconnection between teaching content and operation,current hot spot of physical education,and teaching method and modern mainstream method.Based on this,this study uses the literature method to consult a large number of domestic and foreign literature on related topics,and providestheoretical support for the research of this paper.At the same time,the questionnaire survey method,interview method and data analysis method are used to analyze the present situation of adult correspondence physical education teaching in Hunan normal University,and find out the existing problems and put forward the optimization strategy.The research shows that: at present,the problems faced by adult correspondence physical education teaching are: the structure of physical education specialty curriculum is unreasonable,and the problem of“homogeneity” is formed with ordinary undergraduate course;the problem of “teaching” and “learning” disjointed in adult correspondence physical education teaching,the teaching method is lack of pertinence,and the teaching content can not be updated and supplemented in time.From the perspective of supply-side structural reform,the optimization strategies are as follows: according to policy guidance,professional demand scientific orientation training goal;accurate supply content,Highlight practicality and cutting edge;optimize teaching methods,adopt mixed teaching;strengthen supply team construction;strengthen teaching quality evaluation,improve quality assurance mechanism.
