A Study On Executive Ability Of Administrative Staff In Higer Vocational Colleges In China

Higher vocational colleges have been developing rapidly in China since the 1970 s.From the supplementary and supporting role to an important part in higher education gradually,higher vocational education has become the cradle of high-quality application skills talents necessary for China's economic development and industrial upgrading and transformation,as an irreplaceable half part of China's higher education development.However,there are still many problems behind the rapid development,such as the executive ability of the administrators in higher vocational colleges.The administrative management of higher vocational colleges in our country follows the system of ordinary higher vocational colleges,even in many cases,"rule by man" is more than the management system,which leads to the denounce that management has been unable to solve over the years.Meanwhile,the executive ability of administrative personnel is not strong because of system,incentive,salary and specialization problems.Therefore,how to solve the problem of executive ability of administrative personnel in China's higher vocational colleges is one of the hot spots concerned by scholars at home and abroad.In this paper,259 administrators and teachers from 28 colleges in 8 provinces were investigated on the spot by means of questionnaire survey.According to the results of the investigation,there are many problems in the executive ability of administrative management in higher vocational colleges,including backward concept,low efficiency,low professional level of the team,the quality of administrative personnel and the lack of system.On the above questions,this paper has analyzed the relevant reason,and offered the specific measures and the suggestions on this basis.That is,from the innovation of the administrative management concept and work concept,higher vocational colleges should improve the existing system and regulations;strengthen the talent introduction and training plan,develop a more attractive incentive and compensation balance,optimize the promotion channel of administrative staff,and coordinate the relationship with teachers,etc.
