Over the past decade, because of the rapid development of China's higher education, expanding growth of college enrollment, so the new students have different levels of proficiency. The original mode of organization of teaching and management of students can not meet the development of universities and students' needs in the growing development. For students to be the talents ofall aspects, we must reform the traditional concept of personnel training, to establish a new philosophy of education, students, and talent.In this paper,I used literature research method to collect relevant research materials, and the research results have been analyzed from them.I Interviewed many stuents and teachers, in order to know the status of the students'self-management, and analyzed the causes of it. From the information provided by the teachers,I can know the current situation of the management of school students in higher vocational colleges. I have served as a counselor in college for one year,so I found the problems of students'management by observing the status of the students.In this way,I can obtain first-hand information for the research. I surveyed many higher vocational college students on students'self-management to get the results of statistical analysis.This paper analyzed the status and problems of vocational students in self-management to show the necessity of training students'self-management skills. I described the reasons why the higher vocational college students lack the ability of self-management from three aspects:the family values, social environment and students themselves.The school culture and students themselves should be combined to develop students' self-management capabilities. I referenced the 12 self-management capacities of successful managers. On the basis of the characteristics of the students in higher vocational colleges,I put forward the self-management capacity of vocational students as the capabilities of Knowledge and skills, social and life, behavior and psychology. the capacities of the three aspects showed that students should possess the ability to self-management. After that, the principles of how to develop this capability are "3whole",planning, organization,stage and practicality.Finally, the article puts forward 10 strategies from 5 aspects----the set goals, create an environment, classroom teaching, offer activities, and occupational factors to train students in self-management skills. The 10 strategies are:Life and Career Planning, creating a good atmosphere for Self-management, make a sound management system of student leaders, teaching students with teacher-student interaction, creating research-based learning courses,creating activities of do pioneering work, conducting mental health education activities,conducting students'self-management activities, cultivating professional ethics and professionalism,making self-improvement in in-post practice.Studying of this topic can help us to re-understand the content and form of talent-training.In this way,we can gradually promote the various capabilities and professional qualities of students. Students learn actively, manage thenselves,participate in various activities of learning and practice, construct their own knowledge structure.In this way, we can promote students' subjectivity, initiative and creative, and equip students with professional knowledge, professional skills and management capacity.Then the students can grow to the successors of socialism who have full quality and comprehensive professional competence.
