Mind map is a kind of visual image,which combines multiple concepts such as color,image,text,etc.it can present the thinking process of the brain,help learners to remember and understand knowledge efficiently,clarify the context,solve problems,train learners' logical thinking,and improve their creativity.The rational use of mind map in teaching can improve the efficiency of classroom and cultivate students' good thinking ability and learning ability.On the basis of in-depth study of mind map and related educational theories,combined with the practical experience of classroom teaching in the past five years,a teaching mode of applying mind map to junior middle school physics teaching has been formed.Taking the mechanics of the second volume of the eighth grade of junior high school physics as the teaching content and the students of four classes in the second grade of our school as the research object,the operability and teaching effect of the model applied to the actual classroom teaching are tested and analyzed.Through the analysis of classroom effect,classroom atmosphere,students' performance in the classroom and students' questionnaires and test scores before and after the experiment,we can see that students are more active in class,more students are involved in learning,better in mastering knowledge and better in test scores.Therefore,it is concluded that the application of mind map in junior middle school physics teaching can promote both teachers' teaching and students' learning.
