Study On The Interpersonal Communication Of The Elderly In Pension Institutions

With the seriousness of aging of population,the improvement of degree of openness of social concepts and the change of concept of supporting to the elderly,the institutional old-age care model has become an important choice for the elderly.However,due to the closure of the institution,the strangeness of the environment,the complexity of the personnel and the lack of interactive platforms,the living space and freedom of movement of the elderly are greatly restricted,which results in a decline in the initiative of interpersonal communication among the elderly in the institution.As a result,it is easy for the elderly to have psychological diseases,such as self-isolation,depression and loneliness to a certain degree.Against this background,interpersonal relationship of the elderly has become a hot issue.The study found that the activity form of square dance is widespread in the society,and is greatly popular with people.As a group activity,it can provide an interpersonal interaction platform for the elderly.And it plays an important role in helping the elderly get out of self-closure,finding friends with similar interests,and improving the confidence of interpersonal communication.There is no doubt that it has become an important channel for the elderly to develop their interpersonal communication.Therefore,social workers try to combine the group work mode with the form of dance movement to provide new ideas for the social interaction of the elderly in social work intervention institutions.This research selects the B Social Welfare House in Beibei District of Chongqing as the research field,chooses the elderly with interpersonal problems as the research object,to know more about the basic situation of the elderly,analyze the current situation and causes of the interpersonal communication of the elderly and explore thepossibility of intervention of the dance group by using the method of observation and unstructured interview.According to the interview and survey results,Supported by the theory of "man in the scene",interaction theory and activity theory,according to the team in the development of power,design a dance group activities,in stages,step the old interpersonal group,for the welfare of the elderly to build interpersonal interaction channels,to help them out of the self-closed cycle,confidence and courage to establish interpersonal,expand the scope of social communication,interpersonal communication,learning to get rid of the institution of dormitory,cafeteria line two point one boring life.Then,by recording the performance of team members in group activities and comparing the results of social workers' interviews with the clients and other staff,the effectiveness of group work service was evaluated.Finally,a social worker from the theory,design of group activities,social worker practice ability three aspects in-depth reflection,discusses the success of the intervention group work and deficiency,absorbing the experience and lessons,perfect the framework of social work theory and practice,improve elderly intervention of social work skills,in order to establish a perfect mechanism of social work services welfare homes,better service for the elderly.According to the feedback results after the implementation of the group activities,the elderly in B welfare home have improved their interpersonal skills.Embodied in the process,from the elderly their interpersonal communication skills and team development process of advance,team member has a strong interest in dance team,in addition to quit the team due to special circumstances,other members have a good relationship with group members,and to interact with group members outside the enhancement,interpersonal scope,the second interpersonal circle gradually establish the institution of the elderly.Second,after the group ended,some of the old people in the group were in close contact with each other and had a good state of interaction and communication.And maintain the practice of dancing habits,with the help of the staff,the establishment of the welfare home dance team,continue to expand the dance team,often participate in the welfare home each festival greetings activities,and on behalf of the welfare home in the community performance,become the welfare home's name card.Therefore,the combination of dance sports form and group work mode isoperable for the cultivation of interpersonal skills of the elderly in institutions,which is conducive to the establishment of interpersonal communication platform in the institutional environment and provides channels for the elderly to obtain information,exchange feelings,learn skills and enhance friendship.
