As a typical emotional labor, professional social work is characterized by the long-term and continuous emotional output of social workers, which makes many social workers face to the dilemma of emotional exhaustion. On the other hand, professional social work is still in the early stage of development in China, and social workers face to many difficulties in their practice.Colleagues are the closest partners of social workers in the process of work. The dual advantages of spatial distance and psychological distance make colleagues one of the most important components of social workers' social support network.Chinese cultural background has a great influence on the formation of values and behaviors of local social workers.Based on relevant studies, the characteristics of Chinese cultural values can be summarized as follows :(1)Collectivism.(2)Authority and hierarchy.(3)Face view.(4)Emphasis on favor.(5)Pursue harmony. The professional values of social work also have detailed provisions on the ethical responsibilities of social workers for colleagues, such as respecting and accepting colleagues and promoting the growth of colleagues. The constraint of professional values and the strong influence of traditional cultu re make social workers' colleague relationship in China affected by both professional values and the tendency of local cultural values. This study conducted a questionnaire survey on social workers with practical experience in professional social work,and259 valid questionnaires were collected.Empirical research has found that the local social work colleague relationship has five dimensional structural characteristics :(1)Emotional support relationship. The most intimate type of relationship between social workers and family members.(2)Instrumental relationship.A type of strangerrelationship premised on working, the motivation to establish it is limited to meeting the needs of the job.(3)Value-binding relationship.Social workers are bound by the professional values of social work, they suppress their own feelings to maintain their normal working conditions in conflict.(4)Altruistic relationship.Social workers internalize "altruism" in the values and behave in an entirely altruistic manner toward their colleagues.(5)Leading relationships.Social workers who are in a position of comparative advantage help and guide their colleagues who are relatively weak.In the process of exploring the influence of Chinese cultural value tendency on the relationship between colleagues of local social workers, the author draws a conclusion through multiple regression analysis: The collectivism tendency,Harmony tendency and Favor tendency in Chinese cultural value tendency have significant predictive effect on the relationship between colleagues of local social workers.Collectivism guides Altruistic and Emotional support relationships;Harmonious tendency guides Value-binding relationship and Altruistic relationship;Human tendency guides Value binding relationship and Leading relationship. The effect of Grade tendency and Face tendency was not significant.Different demographic variables also have a certain effect on the colleague relationship of local social workers.Male social workers have significant differences in the instrumental relationship between women, ages of different social workers there are significant differences in the relationship between colleagues all dimensions, while engaged in social work practice time different social workers in Emotional support relationships and Value-binding relationship dimensions have significant differences, accept different degree of professional education of social workers in Emotional support relationships have significant differences on whole relationship with colleagues.
