The report to the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)pointed out that "building a social governance pattern of joint construction,co-governance and Shared benefits in the new era".In today's social governance pattern,social transformation and rapid economic development have led to various social problems and social conflicts,and social workers have played a very important role.Since the sixth plenary session of the 16 th central committee of the communist party of China(CPC)in 2006 proposed "to build a talent team for social work construction with reasonable structure and excellent quality",Guangdong provincial party committee and government have taken the lead in carrying out pilot social work service projects.After more than ten years of hard work,social work has made great progress in guangdong.Social work professionals are an urgent need to build a harmonious society,a service-oriented society,and an important force to build a new era of co-construction,co-governance and Shared social governance pattern.Social work talent team construction,however,faced with a series of problems in the first place in Guangdong also highlighted,including the slow development of professional social work talent team and talent has not been effective utilization,serious brain drain,etc.,more data show that social work the brain drain problem has seriously affected the development of the social work profession.The high turnover of social workers rate has become the focus in insider and the news media,for the discussion of the social workers quit often attributed to low wages,promotion channel is narrow,job burnout,and lack of social identity,but lack the systematic research for social workers leave,also lack the professional ecological research for its face.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to discuss the occupational ecology of social work with the dimission of social workers as the starting point.This paper adopts the qualitative research method to select 21 professional social workers who have received higher education in social work and engaged in social work in the pearl river delta region and have quit their jobs for in-depth interviews,so as to examine the dimission of social workers from amore comprehensive perspective.This paper attempts to make an exploratory analysis of the factors influencing career choice,career status and career mobility,so as to describe the squeeze of social work's career ecology on majors.In the end,this paper reflects and summarizes the countermeasures and Suggestions to improve the professional ecology of social work and strengthen the talent team of social work.We hope that a group of people who love social workers,choose to work as social workers voluntarily and are suitable to work as social workers will stay,so that the social work industry can develop sustainably and retain this group of interested people.
