A Study On The Construction Of Social Support Network For Migrant Women In Urban Villages

The construction of social support network for migrant women has always been the focus of migrant women's social work,which has an important impact on migrant women's adaptation to urban life and integration into cities.Therefore,the successful experience of the construction of social support network for migrant women is of great significance to social workers and researchers.This paper takes the social support network construction service of mobile women in L village as an example,collects data through participatory observation and interview,and conducts in-depth research on the basis of social support network theory.Existing research and practice show that the flow of women's social support network is not perfect,it is a formal social support network main body such as government,community,women's federations,home all in a state of loss,the second is the formal social support network main body such as family,friends,neighbors,is in a state of relatively weak,the full play of network function is very limited.This makes it difficult for migrant women to meet their emotional support needs,practical support needs and social interaction needs.Under the guidance of social support network theory,combined with the support network construction of L village migrant women demand,residency G institutions will integrated use of case study,group and community work methods of emotional support from migrant women,practical support network and social support network flow of three different ways to build the social support network of women.Firstly,social workers intervene from the direction of family and peer group network to strengthen the emotional support network of migrant women.Secondly,through the provision of child care,direct employment support and the establishment of employment information platform to build the actual support network of floating women;Thirdly,through the establishment of offline community public activity space and online virtual community network space,the social support network of mobile women can be enriched.In terms of effect,the strengthening of emotional support network alleviates the multiple pressures of migrant women,the enrichment of practical support network promotes employment,and the expansion of social support network enriches their daily life.But also exist in the process of service part of migrant women "bystanders" mind,family members will support is not strong,and so on,is proposed in this paper summarizes the service based on some practical experience and enlightenment,for the later researchers and practitioners in the flow of women's social support network build service to provide certain reference.
