In recent years,picture books,as a unique carrier of children's literature,have become more and more popular in China.They are composed of vivid pictures and concise words,which are very popular reading resources for children in the lower grades of primary schools.A good picture book can bring students a pleasant reading experience,stimulate their interest in reading,improve their artistic aesthetic ability and imagination ability,and promote the development of their thinking.More and more junior teachers are introducing picture books into the classroom as important reading resources for junior students.Although picture books have a strong educational value for lower grade students in primary schools,there are many deficiencies in the actual teaching of reading picture books.In view of the problems of teachers' insufficient understanding of picture books,low teaching ability and insufficient support from schools for picture book reading teaching,this paper proposes corresponding countermeasures to improve teachers' ability to use picture books for reading teaching and the quality of picture book reading teaching.This article is mainly divided into the following parts: the introduction is mainly about the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research status,research methods,core concept definition and theoretical basis of picture book reading teaching in lower grade primary schools.The first chapter is to investigate the current situation of reading teaching of picture books in the lower grades of primary schools,and summarize and analyze the survey results.The second chapter is based on the elementary school lower grade of picture books reading teaching status quo summed up the problems existing in the elementary school lower grade picture books reading teaching,mainly include the lack of system of picture books reading courses,school to draw this underfunded,teacher-centered phenomenon is serious,positioning of the limitations of the teaching goal,teaching content selection and interpretation is not reasonable,the teaching way has a deviation and so on six aspects.According to the current situation,the author further analyzes the reasons,which are mainly due to the insufficient understanding of teachers on picture book reading teaching,insufficient support from schools,and students' bad learning habits.The third chapter is according to the current situation,reasons,and combined with a large number of data to putforward the corresponding Suggestions.First,teachers should improve their understanding of picture book reading teaching.Teachers should read picture books extensively and keep learning literature and books related to picture book reading teaching.Second,teachers should improve their ability of reading and teaching with picture books.Teachers should select appropriate picture books,formulate accurate multi-dimensional teaching objectives,establish the dominant position of students,and apply diversified teaching methods to interpret teaching contents.Thirdly,the school should set up a platform conducive to the teaching of picture book reading,including the establishment of systematic characteristic courses of picture book reading,the creation of a good reading environment for students,and the cultivation of children's reading habits through home-school cooperation.The purpose of this study is to provide some references for the reading teaching of picture books in the lower grades of primary schools.
