With the development of basic education reform,"Internet + education",and the need for the reform of the new high school chemistry curriculum,great changes will take place in teaching methods of basic education today.The reform of higher education is in full swing.Blended teaching,MOOC,SPOC have been regarded as the mainstream of higher education teaching reform,and they are bound to become universal teaching methods in the future.The reform of basic education also should be in line with higher education,blended teaching have been carried out in various disciplines and a remarkable effect has been made.However,due to practical factors,the research of SPOC is still in its infancy.There are much fewer studies on combination of SPOC and blended teaching in high school chemistry.The SPOC blended teaching model is centered and is integrated with high school chemistry teaching,aiming to explore a path of high school chemistry teaching based on the SPOC blended teaching model.This article is based on the related theoretical and practical foundations,such as Mastery Learning Theory,First Principles of Instruction Learning Theory,Deep Learning Theory and Self-access Learning Theory,etc.The classic blended teaching design procedures is analyzed for the design principles of SPOC blended teaching model.A SPOC blended teaching model suitable for high school chemistry teaching is constructed.The course case design is based on the 2019 Luke Edition high school chemistry compulsory first volume textbook.A two-month teaching practice was conducted in a high school in Yantai through the 12 xue platform which is suitable for basic education in China.The recommendations of the SPOC blended teaching model for chemistry teaching are summarized.The teaching practice of SPOC blended teaching model in high school chemistry teaching is analyzed and evaluated by the results of students' grades,questionnaires and interviews.The advantages and disadvantages of SPOC in high school chemistry teaching are explored.The experimental results show that SPOC blended teaching mode has certain effects on improving students' chemistry performance and helps students improve their autonomous learning ability in the chemistry teaching practice of high school.The questionnaire results and interviews show that students have a higher evaluation of chemistry teaching based on the SPOC blended teaching model.Moreover,they prefer this mode to the traditional teaching mode.In summary,the exploration of this teaching model is beneficial for teachers to apply SPOC blended teaching model to teaching practice,and provides a new way for chemistry teachers to improve their teaching methods.It has certain reference value and guiding significance for the teaching reform of contemporary high school chemistry courses.
