Research objective: The development and popularization of campus football is very important to improve the physical health of teenagers in China.Youth football players are at the peak stage of growth and development. In the process of football training, attention should not only be paid to traditional physical training with sufficient physical reserves, but also to the evaluation of their functional actions to prevent premature sports injuries due to functional movement restrictions. Therefore,in order to prevent juvenile football players in sports injury,to provide more scientific method for football player physical ability training, this study from the functional activities evaluation of juvenile football students,to combine traditional functional training and physical training,to verify this football students physical training effectiveness,to explore the functional training of adolescent physical qualities and special skills, training for the juvenile football as reference and practice, and promote the development of the distinctive campus football school.Research methods: The effect of functional training theory on the physical fitness of football students in Renmin Road Middle School was studied by using the methods of literature, experiment and statistics.A 12-week physical function training and a12-week traditional physical fitness training were designed for 32 football students in Renmin Road Middle School. Before and after the experiment, the students in the experimental group and control group were tested for specific indicators, physical fitness and functional movement.SPSS22.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data. Before the experiment, independent sample T-test was used for the difference of the selected indicators between the experimental group and the control group. After the experiment, independent samples were used to test the difference of changes within the group.Research results:(1)According to the results of functional movement screening before the experiment, the symmetrical functional flexibility and stability of both sides of the hip, both sides of the knee and the ankle of teenage football players were poor, and the core stability of the pelvis and body was poor.(2)It was found by intra-group comparison that 12-week functional training and traditional physical training could both promote the special test indexes before and after the experiment of the experimental group and the control group, and improve the significance level(P<0.05).(3)Comparison between groups found that after 12 weeks of training, the experimental group and the control group showed significant differences in specific physical fitness, sensitivity quality, speed quality and lower limb strength compared with the control group(P<0.05).(4)According to the post-experiment functional movement screening results, the FMS score of the experimental group was significantly increased with significant difference(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the control group(P>0.05).The results show that functional training can prevent the sports injury of youth football players and correct the movement disorder of the body. Conclusion :(1)after 12 weeks of training, the scores of special test indexes of the experimental group and the control group were significantly improved, but the experimental group showed significant differences compared with the control group in the three test indexes of agility, speed and lower limb strength.(2)According to the post-experiment functional motion screening results, the FMS score of the experimental group was significantly improved, with significant difference; However, there was no significant difference in the control group. The results show that functional training can prevent the sports injury of youth football players and correct the movement disorder of the body.
